Wale Aboderin Chairman of Punch Newspapers Is Dead..

Mr. Gbadebowale Wayne Aboderin, the Chairman, of Punch Nigeria Limited died at the age of 60 on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 6.05am after a heart surgery at the First Cardiology Consultants, Ikoyi, Lagos.





The sports enthusiast and philanthropist was Chairman, PUNCH Commercial Printing Limited and Lukahed Properties Limited.

He was also the founder and chairman of the Dolphins Female Basketball Foundation, and Lagos State Basketball Association. And was a one-time vice-president of the Nigerian Basketball Supporters Club.

He is survived by his wife, Titilayo, and children.

  16. I am wondering if his heart disease is related to that of his late brother. Sometimes it's like that and better if you can link the similarities and double up with your diet, doctor's appointments,etc.

  20. Kai, this family has suffered a lot. Their father died in 1984 at 49, their mother died in 1993 at 53/54, Jaiye died in 2004 at 32/33 and now the first born is dead at 60. May untimely death never be our lot. Amen. God please console the remaining children.
