Good day Stella; i dont know where this fits but i would like to share.
I was the guy who actually asked for a job from any person in the house or through an agent. Actually i tried a job in a new generation bank; i passed the assessment and you really need to see me being happy cause a friend of mine failed previously and it really made me nervous.
The next step was interview with there boss and i thinking it would be easy didnt go as planned .i found myself all jittery during the interview for no reason; but still managed to say somethings to be best of my knowledge.
Only to receive a mail that i cant go further with the recruitment process . i felt the world should fall on me cause i really kept my mind on the job because i have exhausted all my savings on interviews and job processing. I feel like a failure and almost ended it all. dont know what could have being the reason.
I only told a few friend about the job process but i feel like i am cursed or my sins are haunting me or a friend i told about the job was the reason i didnt get this job ( my own 2cents).i am really confused. At this point i feel like any process i am going through for any job would not get out of my mouth till concluded.. Has any b.v had such disappointment and how did you handle it cause i feel so horrible about myself.
The one chance i had to change my situation got blown on my face and cant really explain it all

There is nothing I didn't think about. Just like you said, I applied for another position, I didn't even tell anyone not even my parents. The day I travelled for the interview, I had to always lie to everyone, since it was in another state and I had to sleep over. Boom, after two interviews on the job, I got the job. Till today I don't know if it is coincidence or what. Just keep it to yourself.

I've been complaining to everybody that I need a job, because I was tired of staying at home, idle and broke then my Sis In law talked to her contact @Globacom. I was invited for the 1st test, it was CBT, GMAT like Aptitude test, I did very well and passed that stage. Then the 2nd one was yesterday, face to face oral interview . I was so nervous and jittery . My heart was beating so fast , I was tensed and sweating like a goat oh. I messed it up and wasn't chosen. This always happens to me. I'm a very nervous and shy person. My hisband just told me to stop applying for jobs and think of business to do, he'll help me raise capital. So that I can stop embarrassing myself everywhere . I hate public speaking

HMMM, for the poster about job ishhh...I have experienced that on 3 occasions and i just experienced one yesterday too.i have gone for an interview with GTB before, after passing the exams, i failed the interview and the simple question was "tell us about yourself". Presently, where i am doing temporary staff, they want to recruit but instead of confirming my appointment, they went to bring people from outside.NOTE: i have spent 8 years as temporary staff. So make i kill myself. Salary is 20k.
