    6. Considering the fact that this girl is a prophetess who does deliverance services-as evidenced by a video on Facebook, if she had the spirit of God, the Ooni would not be comfortable with her at all. The Orisa would have rejected her but her powers are not from God, incredibly some people still can't figure it out.

My friend a staunch christian married a christian man into a christian or deacon house got her feet washed by the family wives as shes about to enter the groom's house.

      Delete
    2. In Yoruba land, before a new bride enters her husband's house, washing of the feet is usually done by the elderly women. It's just pouring water on her feet while praying for fruitfulness, unity & long life for her. Nothing fetish about it.

    3. Calm down. It's just a harmless tradition. Them wash my mama legs too

  16. Hehehehe.
Firstly, baby girl needs to wax mehn. Such hairy arms should be kept under sleeves eeeeh (that's if she knows sef - lol). She has this innocent look and will do well in the palace. She already goes makeup free and covers her hair, so it should not be an issue to adapt to palace attire. Good luck to them!

Now, please nobody should come and tell me how an evangelist is getting married to a traditional ruler. I can see and I know. I need you people to understand that, there is a 'new team' of 'christian' women who are taking this man matter by fire by force. Especially as some of those gone before, were looking up and not looking sideways until they ended up with broke guys, no guys or just basic guys.
Now they do 'gbam gbam!' oh.... They will pray, speak in various tongues, preach bible and still shine eye. Let us call them spiritual slay queens. Lol. you think Toke is the only one who would pray and still do lipo for man to fall in line? Toke represents a subset of 'christian' women who have those beliefs. I shared here nau… how a prophetess-church-mummy wanted me to stand by a separated guy for him to fully divorce his wife and marry me. Lol. I did not seem to believe it was necessary and she told me to my face that God wanted to help me and I missed my blessing - cos the guy has some cash. To her, it was a time for me Esther a Vashti, and I was slow. They don't see anything wrong with marrying previously or already married men. The very strong minded ones go in as second wife. They will tell you about Rehab in the bible, Vashti and Esther and the King, Ruth's smartness to capture Boaz, and even Bethsheba whose son eventually became king. They will argue that God uses various ways to pull women to the top and He is all forgiving. So the plan is to pray while applying sense to make you stand out while preaching Jesus.

There are maaaany in church, by the way. I am not condemning anyone oh! Just putting this out there.

    1. Well said chikito, i have gone through her pictures on IG, she wears makeup tho depending on the occasion, she doesn't use jewelries and her major thing is the hair, shes fix and and do all sort of hair, she even wears both fitted dress and loose dress.
So palace lifestyle might not be an issue on that but na her ministry her calling i fear, it will definitely compromise for peace to reign.

For toke and tonto 'christian' styles, hmmmmmm we have them plenty and do not see any issue there, they will even tell you that are you God to judge them.
They pray and still gbensh another man husband.

  28. Growing up, I had a prophetess neighbor. A married man used to come spend weekend at hers every Friday-sunday. Sometimes he came with his kids. She never went to him, he always came. Whenever we see her frying chicken and scent leaf, we knew he was around. He usually parked outside the compound. Never inside. They went together to her ministry on Sundays.
This same woman used to do prayers/jazz for single babes to hook rich married men. I remember one day she gave me her phone to help her compose a text (she was semi literate). I kuku snooped. A babe sent her a text to pray for alhaji's marriage to scatter. She wanted the man to leave his wife for her. That she has used the special knife in his kitchen and also broken the coconut. Plenty things she did. The woman replied with more instructions. Young girls would come to her house, sweep, clean cook, and bathe with remnants of water she used to bathe. It was since then I knew that a lots of prophet/esses are into powerful jazz. They use their juju to trap very rich men for themselves and daughters. If you are a successful man and you go for prayers in some ministries, sorry be your name. Either they break your marriage or they siphon your funds. I am not surprised at this marriage at all at all.

  35. She looks virginal. She is not even looking at him in the eye. I feel for the man. He has been through a whole lot. I am a christian. A pastor. But there must be a spiritual thing to this union. The Ooni is a man. He is occupying that position by reason of his birth. That lady aint ordinary too. I pray the will of God be done in their lives. It takes a strong woman to be wife to this man. God had searched her out for him. May the Lord in His infinite mercy bless the union in every way. Especially with the fruit of the womb. The ways of God aren't those of man. Let anyone say what they like. For those that are reading and have been taken through shame in life in one area or the other, may God take away your shame.

    1. "For those that are reading and have been taken through shame in life in one area or the other, may God take away your shame." Thank you so much anonymous for this prayer, may it be fulfilled in my life. I have been through so much shame, hated, ridiculed and misjudged over situations I have no control over. When i saw this lady, something came alive in my spirit. I don't know her but i feel we are alike. I pray God that has honoured her like this will lift me up even more and give me beauty for ashes. I have also thought about the unequally yoked thing, but remember our ways are not God's ways. Also Esther was married in exactly this same circumstance. The king deposed of his other wife becos of her attitude and married Esther. Esther excelled exceedingly. She's the only woman with a book dedicated to her in the bible. I am not a usual tapper, but I tap into Queen Naomi Oluwaseyi grace. Her name is even Naomi sef. There is just something about her, I can't place my finger on it. I wish you a peaceful and long reign King & Queen of Ife & the Yoruba race.

    2. Amen. Some people do not understand life and it's complexities. Oni needs a strong woman. Instead of them to happy he's marrying a woman who will teach him about the ways of God, they are complaining. We need to learn to look deeper.

As for you last prayer, that's exactly what I'm going through. The devil wants to bring shame to me. God will do it!

    1. Esther met the king against her will? Says who?? Esther was prepared to meet the king by Mordecai, her uncle. She was groomed for more than a year for that special day. Biko it was not against her will. The loophole I see in that bible story is that they did not state if the king was gbenshing all the virgins one-by-one and stopped at Esther's turn. Or maybe Esther was the only one who resisted, that is why the King took her more seriously. Because many Christian slay queens use that as an excuse to follow men. That like Esther, their own pussy would be the bomb. And they can plug in. hehehehe.

    2. Anon 16:01 is right she met the king against her will the servants went into their homes and brought the virgins out.
When queen vashti ignored the king and refused to come into his presence, she was sent away.

Then it was advised they bring forth virgins from their homes. They took them from their homes without consent.
Yes her uncle groomed her but that was after the king took her into the harem, for mordecai always sent someone to her in the palace who checked on her and relayed his messages to her, and yes the king went in to all the virgins till he got to Esther's turn and he stopped there by marrying her.

    1. Juginas. I was hoping Ooni would get the next wife preggy first before announcing to the world. It is well sha. Its easy to see the man has a heart for Jehovah God. God judges every man based on their heart and intent. Stay there and be judging another man. May the Lord bless their union and grant them peace and victory in the storm that the devil may unleash. 3. God bless you Lagos shopper. They dont know them, they dont know their story yet they judge them. And I know some of them wish deep within them that the Ooni chose them. The Queen has a family and certain things must have been discussed with her by her family and by the two families involved too. Rejoice with them and pray for them or mind your business... that's all that's required of us. Do you know the rituals done by the British royal family? Every family has it's own abeg, they should let them be. May the new Queen's reign be peaceful and prosperous...Amen
