  2. This is what you get when you have Mr Project as a governor working in collaboration with the Federal government. Nice Job from the Presidency. I commend them for this. If development like this were extended to the medical facilities in this country, including electricity and job creation, then I don't think Nigerians would have gotten it this bad with successive administration. So sad it takes criticism to get government working in this part of Africa.

    1. Please stop talking trash. That's a federal govt project. Which wike is working? The whole town is in rot and you open you big mouth and say wike is working. Wike that is blocking all water ways saying is land recovery project. High rate of crime every where.

    6. That airport was awarded by Goodluck and dully paid for in full. So unfortunate that Buhari couldn't acknowledge former government for initiating such project. Too bad.

  4. If this is the new look now, then nice job. Lets keep the critics coming because it is obvious now that is the only way they get to work.

  5. People complaining before the airport was under construction then. Impatience is worrying a lot of Nigerians. Now they've seen the finished work. Wike for 2019 jare.

  9. Yes Madam Stellz, it is. the Int'l wing is really beautiful, they are also working on the local wing, it's almost complete. But the challenge is that the road is really small for an airport this standard. The traffic here yesterday was on another level, it was almost like what happened about 3 yrs ago when Wike went to pick his nomination form or whatever it was. Security men everywhere, we asked to go and pack inside the A&D car park, before we enter office nko, na war between us and FAAN security, we had to display our ID's, they didnt cordinate it well, operation activity was really hampered yesterday which could have been avoided had there been a good cordination btw the FAAN and security officials.

  10. God bless Buhari.

This is why I always tell people to be patient.

This is the only governtment ever that is working in all the 36 states and FCT syncrounously. FG is building roads, rails, airports, seaports, houses etc in virtually all the states at the same time and speed. The kind of infranstructural developments that Nigeria will see in the next 2 years will surprise all of us.

This government is not joking at all. They are working!

    2. The contract was awarded when Stella Odua was the Oga at the top. GEJ, should be given credit for that. Wike did not do it.
Personally, l am glad because the last time l visited in 2012, Na Tarpoline we enter. My Son asked me why the Airport was like that. I was short of words. No water or toilet paper in the toilets. A lady stood outside to roll out toilet paper for people on a second visit. You use bucket of water to pour into the toilet because it was broken.
In all of this, l hope FAA maintains this because it’s poor maintenance culture that’s one of our biggest problems.

  15. Stella, this is the international wing of the Port Harcourt airport , the local wing is still not up to this yet. It's funded by the Federal Government and not the State Government please.

  16. Nothing to do with this government. It was commissioned by the last government and work started. It has just been completed. Like most projects started by the last government, this too is being claimed as this government's doing.

    1. Permit me to ask, Do you expect the present government to abandon the project started by the past government to begin theirs? Ever heard of continuity? why do we always cry foul over a project completed by this administration? Do we realize that if they choose to begin theirs and ignore projects started by last administration, we would eventually have no completed projects and gigantic abandoned projects everywhere. lets use our heads to reason sometimes and leave our sentiments and hatred for the government aside.
