This has been the best birthday ever. I got three different huge surprises. I screamed, danced, shouted(till my voice went off), ate so much (lol) and blushed very well. It's amazing how God chooses to turn something that is supposed to be a negativity into positivity.
ReplyDeleteI remember when that demonic bv sent picture of my proposal to the blog, forgetting that I wasn't the only one in the picture but also a harmless innocent man that probably wouldn't want his picture on a blog. Out of the wickedness of her heart, she thought she was doing me. I remember being so upset and angry over it, until I thought to myself, why are u even angry??? Everything happens for a reason.
Now I know why God allowed it to happen. He just wanted to use me to advertise the wig on my head for my SIL. He wanted to use that medium to bless me (yes, once he blesses any member of my family, he has blessed me).
One lady here asked for her contact and now she's making two wigs for her. When she told me ehn, I was so happy and I finally realised the reason that had to happen cos I know God loves me too much to allow one demon out there make me upset.
To that lady that God used to turn that supposed negativity into positivity, thanks for your patronage. We will not disappoint you.
Congrats..you are still owing me a bottle of beer and a plate of catfish peppersoup.

ReplyDeleteApart from my anger attitude or should I call it angry spirit I have been and will always continue to be a very good girl. I just cannot tell what tea triggers my anger, sometimes it will look like something just loss out of my head and I am angry, I also extend it to my customers, colleagues, boss, supervisors, is never my wish to act that way, after a while the anger will be gone and I will be regretting talking to those people like that. I also extend it to my parents, siblings, boo, but my boo and siblings have learn to manage me when that attitude triggers.
ReplyDeleteApart from this evil spirit I am the best person you can be with, this spirit was never there before now, it only came in after my heart was broken, since then little little things just triggers my anger. Lord I need this spirit out of me, let me be my nice, patient, calm, always smiling, hardworking, smart and happy babe that I have always been, someone who has been there can you assist me on how you over came this anger spirit, sometimes it make people around me not to confront me on issues that they know I can respond or assist them, I am not that bad, but the devil want to spoil my shine. I have read that book anger is a choice and still reading it, help a sister here.

DeleteAll I can say is that you need to understand the triggers. What memory from your past is triggering you? And what replication of your present, triggers you in line with that memory? Think well about this.
For me, badly behaved people trigger my anger. So I've learned to treat them like trash. You know when a person lacks morals and content and is just crass. Looking back, i think high school bullies made me hate such attitude and such behaviour makes me remember it. But I need to remember that I am adult and there is nothing the person can do to me. So when they act in silliness, I just treat them like they dont exist. No response, no answer, no reaction. If they dont get the message and stop, it is someone around that will insult/caution them for me. I've passed the responsibility on to that person
At work, I hardly do verbal communication. I usually request that everything (work related) is written down. This gives me evidence of your stupidity, when I have had it. I'd just copy HR and my superior, in the thread. I wont give you a reaction, they will.
Remember that everytime you react to a person's misconduct, you bring yourself to their level. You also need to be careful for when you have kids. Cos when they pick that anger and give it back to you in future, you will hate your life. Being a good person is no excuse

I dont do it to my siblings or parents, cos they arent badly behaved. My superior co-workers too are very polite and well-behaved (of course you cant be that crass and go far in a corporate world!!)

When you get like that and you feel like lashing out, just think in that moment what would be the worst thing that will happen if you just don't talk or walk away, more still if you can't, then in place of the hurtful things you want to say, you try instead to keep repeating "it not worth it" for as long as you can.
DeleteYou said it started when you had some sort of heartbreak, well you should start by letting go of that. I don't know how you are going to do that, but deep down i think you are still frustrated by it and if you don't let go you might not make progress with the anger.
We say and do hurtful things in anger not because we want to hurt others mostly, but because we are hurting badly, and need to hurt others to feel better.
So, remember every time breath breath breath and say "its/you are not worth it"
When I'm angry i listen to music, in fact the best time for me to learn lyrics of songs is when I'm mad lol, that is when i pay more attention to the lyrics of the songs, i blur out everything and its just me and my songs, and in a while i feel better.
I once said something hurtful to someone in anger, and moments later i went outside and saw the person crying and i didn't feel any better afterwards, so these days i just think it through before i open my mouth.
Each time think of how much your words will hurt the other person before you open your mouth, then shut it!
and oh, there is no spirit behind whatever is happening to you, stop giving these things power over you. You can do it

Dont insinuate anything about his relationship with Banky. As an older friend/colleague, even if a younger person is acting up, you can only advice NOT control. Doesn't make your relationship bad.

My family is hosting for a Burial Committee towards a certain burial down east in November. If you're Igbo you will understand. And no. There's no jollof rice here today. Nsala soup with semo, chicken and goat meat pepper soup with agidi, okra and nni oka. Followed by palmwine all the way from Enugu and Epe in Lagos. Some will still request for wine bottles, mix a cocktail and get drunk. Kikiki. We await their "PERFORMANCE".
Meanwhile I am assuming a WIFE NOT COOK today. Some Nwunyedis are here getting some ready. The MEN are coming.
Make I continue to sleep with one eye as a tired Madam that I is na.
In another note. Don't just share a plate of food. Women stop giving your domestic staff chicken legs and heads. Stop humiliating people,give it to those who love having it in their plates instead. Be a good Christian let people smile behind your back.
