Atiku Approves N33,000 Minimum Wage For All 100,000 Staff On His Payroll

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has approved N33,000 as minimum wage for all staff in his conglomerate.

Mohammed El-Yakub, Managing Director of Gotel Communications, Atiku's media outfit based in Yola, confirmed on Thursday, saying “the N33,000 new salary scale, which takes effect from November 2018, includes domestic servants and all categories of workers on the former VP's payroll.

El-Yakub said over 100,000 people are currently drawing salary on a monthly basis from the former Vice President.

Following the recommendation of N30,000 as minimum wage by the tripartite committee set up by the Federal Government, Atiku had urged President Muhammadu Buhari to endorse the figure.

  14. Nigerians are so gullible. 100,000 staff from where . That is like minimum 3.3billion if all of them are collecting just 33k (which is not possible cos there are senior staff) on salary alone monthly. Total Staff strength of firstbank, Gtb and zenith that have branches in all local government. Is not up to 35,000.

  16. We are between the devil and the red sea. Thank you sir but some of us choose not to be gullible, we are not children that will be entice with sweet mouth. Only God knows which one is better between Mr Ajala and Mr i am for the youth.

  17. The small respect I have for Atiku, Tinubu, TY Danjuma, IBB and a few other past leaders/politicians is because they are serious employers of labour in Nigeria and pay reasonably well. ABTI, Saipem, TVC, The Nation, Max and several other coded businesses. These four actually pay better than most. They are better than those wicked ones that siphon money to develop oyinbo land or dash small girls with big nyansh. At all at all na im bad pass, make FG and Governors do the needful too.

  18. I despise ppl who only know to do what is good when it benefits them. These ppl were living hand to mouth before and the only time you saw fit to do anything for them is to get you closer to the highest seat of power in the land. For God's sake do for people when you have nothing to get in return. Do for them because there is empathy in you, not just selfishness parading as hope.

  20. Good to hear! Let it be implemented. APC should keep farting around. I have registered to join the AtikuObi team in my locality. By God's Grace will do my own campaign to send that thing saraki is taller than all of a sudden back to his country.

  21. So before now Atikus employees were earning less than 30,000k??? Shame on him...

  22. Millions hisses, very desperate person. Honestly, this man can kill his mother if it’s the last option for him to be the President of Nigeria. Haha what is it self, is it by force to rule Nigeria ni. If you like pay your existing and ghost workers 1million each, wise (not the gullible ones) Nigerians will not even look at you once.
My candid advise for you Mr desperado, please for Allah sake, stay in your house, rule your numerous companies, wives, children and concubines in peace and leave Nigerians jejely. Mr man staying in your own lane will give you the respect you so much crave in your entire life.
Nigerians please stop looking for magicians as president. Way to success is not easy, its only magicians that can fix a country under few months. Believe me, the poverty and struggle that will hammer all these gullible Nigerians if Atiku becomes president is still in the gym doing press up.
Already Nigeria is dead (A ti ku) so please don't allow Atiku to finally bury us. Please vote for anyone else but certainly not Atiku. Adieu in advance if Atiku finally achieve his deadly aim. I weep for Nigeria
