''ONCE UPON A TIME....MY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
And it was indeed my fairytale. That’s me in the celestial white wedding dress carrying a bouquet made up of 24 of the most beautiful red roses I have ever seen. They were specially flown in from Jos that misty morning....12th November 1994.
Today would have been our 24th wedding anniversary, though we had been together since 1989. It was a marriage which occurred and survived against all odds.
The wedding ceremony was nothing short of superlative and took place at Our Lady Queen Of Nigeria Catholic Church Abuja while the wedding reception, the very first ever to be held at the Hilton, Abuja was a compendium of who is who, and a memorable extravaganza.
The pre Wedding Party took place at the exotic Jabi Lake resort and had Afro juju sensation Sir Shina Peters on the bandstand......we jammed all night!
so many years ago, and it feels just like yesterday...
On this special day, though you are not here to remember with me, Dim Oma, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, I want to say THANK YOU.....
THANK YOU, Beloved, for 21 years of immeasurable happiness;
THANK YOU, Nnam Ukwu , for the priceless privilege of being your spouse, your Queen, and most of all,
THANK YOU , for being such a great father to our wonderful children.
Till we meet to part no more, May God continue to shower you with peace and joy in His paradise where All is perfect.

Anon 12:21 GBAM!It started as runs. It was not meant to go public. When city people leaked it, they had no choice but to make it permanent. Bianca had a young guy she was dating at the time. Her father was opposed to the union. He disowned her and did not attend the wedding. They later made up before he died. Her mother was the one supporting her. What she failed to write about is the constant embarrassment she received from Ojukwu's family and his other children.
Delete@12.21, i get your point but your story is not Bianca's story. You can't know of Bianca's story with Ojukwu and call it runs. Never was. This is a girl that rejected younger rich men to be with the warlord. Defied her father, broke all societal expectations. Their union stood strong despite everything, survived over 20years. Their story has been widely written about, even made into a film. She loved him even unto death, theirs was one of a kind.

I have a rich friend that was into runs,her father was a big business man in East but he doesn't dole out money,he gives his kids enough but the girl wants designer bags,first class ticket etc. She met her hubby an older man through same runs,they feel in love and are now married going on 10yrs. She's living in US with her kids.
The truth @When city people leaked it, they had no choice but to make it permanent. Guess who leaked it to City People Yes, the current Senator from Bayelsa who said he won't re-contest next year. Remember he striped her of her role as MBGN when she went behind his back to date Ojukwu. He was there first.
DeleteI think with her it was more for the power than money. Look how far she has gone with power (women's leader of APGA, former Ambassador and failed Senatororial candidate for APGA.) I still see her as a future Deputy Governor (because that is the highest they give women.) I remember when Ojukwu gave her a brand new Santana, her father bought her the new V boot. CC Onoh promised to give her far more than Ojukwu offered but mbanu she didn't agree. Ojukwu had his way with women. He was very romantic and a warlord in bed too.

DeleteMy mum was at that wedding. The reception took place at Congress hall of the Abuja Hilton. The president and all the important personalities and foreign ambassadors were there. Bianca Father gave her a wedding gift of two houses at GRA and a C class Mercedes brand new. Bianca’s Father was a billionaire and former governor so she has been used to wealth all her life and educated abroad. She loved Ojukwu, it’s as simple as that, not matter of money.

Bianca is a drop dead gorgeous beauty with a heart of gold, I remember seeing her greet the women sitting by their house at I can't remember the street name again but I think it's edozien street in Enugu, I was passing by to go eat, but bc prime people was my every week read, I recognized her immediately I saw her. Until now I have not seen anyone more beautiful. Is it the angelic face or the full straight beautiful legs, even me as a woman, I bow. She's really beautiful, as beautiful as a picture, then later too I saw her in school, I think she came to do stuff at the law faculty (UNEC)

When he walked passed me, i almost fell from his magnetic charm, and he looked back and smiled kindly at me [as if he was used to unintentionally causing commotion in women within proximity of his presence]. Mind you, before that encounter, i was one of those asking WHY ON EARTH Bianca married him ==== AFTER that encounter, i understood.
It was also common knowledge that a few high profile women lost their marriages as they were following him --- it was Bianca who tamed him; and of all his extraordinary exploits, it is reported that it was only Bianca that he legally married in court&church!
