Twenty one Million naira in one day from watching movies?WOW....That means the other movies must be smiling to the Banks as well.....
I have always been curious about one thing and I am sure those who Understand will explain it if i ask.....
I am curious about who gets the 21 million naira.....The owner of the movie shares it with the cinema or takes all or the cinema gives them some and takes the rest?....
I aw a lot of Chief Daddy short clips and I am sure the full movie is unputdownable.....
Seems like my love for falz and good movie will finally let me visit the cinema sooner than I had thought....I miss me some falz and good comedy😁
ReplyDeleteThe movie is crap, falz and FAB actually brought their A game, but as for the movie, it's all hype.
DeleteSorry for my ignorance please. How do we watch movies like this online abroad biko? Especially when it is being shown in the cinema??
DeleteIs it worth watching? if yes. Then i will love to buy two tickets for bvs in jos to go watch the movies @mees palace. Who is in?
ReplyDeleteEnter your reply...I am in Jos I will like to go watch with my daughter
DeleteCongrats to her. Is that why they don't want lion heart to go like this.
ReplyDeleteMo you know how to play the game
It worth it
ReplyDeleteSuper Hilarious and cool
It was almost a stampede at ICM on Boxing Day
Falz is so good at what he does mehn
That means, more than 7,000 people watched the movie at N3,000.I watched it at N3,000 @ Genesis Cinema
DeletePlease who has watched chief daddy? Is it worth the money and time
ReplyDeleteAm planning to go watch during this period
Wow. See money. Oluwa pick my call biko.
ReplyDeleteStella this is a festive period everybody wants to hang out, go see a movie etc. On a normal day to see a movie like this in Genesis cinema- novare mall is 1k or 1k5 but for a week now, all movies no matter the time of the day or day of the week is now 3k. And it's gonna remain 3k till the end of the year and maybe till the first week of January 2018. If every cinema in Nigeria is showing 'chief daddy' for 3k then 21m shouldn't come as a surprise. And i heard the movie is also very good.
ReplyDeletePlease which cinema charged you 3k for chief daddy?. Because film house in surulere and leisure mall is 1,500 per ticket.
Delete@chidinma Grace, Genesis at Lekki Palms charges N3k
DeleteSilver bird festival mall 3k as at yesterday, I was so angry, my kids watched elliot the littlest reindeer for 2.5k each, movie that is 1k on a normal day. I was so angry.
DeleteI mean 2k each for my kids
DeleteAnon I watched at palms for 2k last weekend
DeleteIts expected. A good movie plus great timing (Christmas holiday) is the perfect recipe for success. She goes all out in her movies, Though I can't get over that Royal Hibiscus Hotel flop.
ReplyDeleteI am not going to the cinema though, I give it a few months and the movie will be on repeat on ebony life.
I am not surprised. The whole cinema was fully booked. I love the movie by the way.
ReplyDeleteI dont ever belive their hype about how mych their movies gross at the cinemas. Anything to make more persons rush to watch it.
ReplyDeleteStella i believe they agree on a %. Maybe 70/30 in favor of the movie producers.
From the review of the movie I read here, I jejely went and saw king of boys and I didn't regret it. I cannot come and waist my money.
ReplyDeleteYou made the right choice . Silverbird only shows king of boys by 8pm, and I also looked out for heaven on my mind but it wasn't showing here in Abuja cinemas.
DeleteLion heart nko ,no, and to make matters worse, the chief daddy has part 2,i regretted watching it, too much hype.
On Boxing Day, I just jejely went to see aquaman and I was happy I did.
Ah me I want to go and see lion heart tomorrow, they are joking with me, if I get there and it’s not showing, I will rather go home than watch any stupid chief papa
DeleteHype...hype...hype
ReplyDeleteThat’s why they won’t let lionheart show, pulled heaven on my mind and refused to show many other movies.
Just to give this one monopoly.
See monopoly cannot develop our country, it can only make few people mega rich.
And no...it didn’t make any 21m, they are just hyping it to make people think it’s so good they need to see it.
God bless you ,I feel for Uche, kemi and Genevieve, such beautiful movies but they weren't allowed to show all because of MO's monopoly and tomorrow they will be shouting let's make naija great.
DeleteJust hype. Story line is just bleh!
ReplyDeleteBut I have always been curious about one thing .
ReplyDeleteI AM CURIOUS ABOUT HOW MUCH TAX REMMITANCE/ANNUAL TAX REMMITANCE THAT THIS KING OF BOX OFFICE/ MOVIE OWNER PAY TO THE GOVERNMENT BY EXCEEDING BOX OFFICE 2018 -
They agree on what to share.
ReplyDeleteI rather be sleeping at home than spend my money to go watch any MO produced over hype movie,i made dat mistake with fifty, till today my 3k is still paining me. I nor watch.
ReplyDeletePls dis chief daddy is jus a HYPED MOVIE? saw it today n walai I regretted. Storyline no make sense, altho d small small jokes inbw were cool n Falz acted mehn, oda actors too were great but pls I won't advice my enemy to see dis movie instead watch king of Boys n U will never regret. Infact not to be compared
ReplyDeleteThere must have been an agreement on percentage
ReplyDeleteSaw the movie yesterday, not sure it was worth the N2k Ozone cinema Yaba made us cough out. Yes it was funny, was beautifully shot and had everyone in nollywood in it. However the storyline was bland and empty. I wished I had watched king of boys instead!
ReplyDeleteKing of boys is bae. will love to see aqua man this weekend. Came late on xmas day and the ticket was fully booked, i opt for another movie.
DeleteI regretted watching it, it was an imitation of one old Ghanian movie like that, majid Michael featured in it can't remember the name, the original movie was interesting but this naija own is poor
ReplyDeleteI told my sisters jawe that this movie was copied from a Ghanaian movie who also copied a black American movie. Can't remember the name
DeleteEven the Ghanaian movie copied a black American movie
