Okupe made this known on his official Twitter page.
According to Okupe, the EFCC operatives arrived his residence in Lagos on Saturday, and asked him to follow them.
He later revealed that they decided to leave on the promise that he will see them on Monday.
He wrote: “EFCC just stormed my house in Ilupeju Lagos asking me to follow them. No letter. No letter of IV no warrant. Saturday!
"The officers finally agreed to leave on the promise I will see them Monday. Offence. CYBER CRIME.”
The invasion came barely 24 hours after Okupe had listed areas which, according to him, the government of President Muhammadu Buhari failed. The former presidential aide claimed Buhari has failed on security, and the fight against corruption.

ReplyDeleteThis is same government that rented a twin duplex at Citec villa in Gwarimpa and hired tons of graduates to seat down round the clock and wage cyber war against the government of Goodluck Jonathan. I know this because I know the place, got a job there out of curiosity but disappeared, had friends who did the job. It was a shift thing, cos they worked round the clock, over 200 graduates were hired and all they did was seat down in front of the computer and write lies about GEJ and attack anyone supporting Jonathan. Why are they suddenly against freedom of speech when they manipulated the same freedom to get into power. Deliver your promises and stop chasing people up and down!
ReplyDeleteStella most of these GEJ guys deserve what they are getting. This people were supposed to work for GEJ but they were eating the money and sold him out. When the judges houses were stormed I laughed because, same judges sold out Jonathan. Imagine losing inside villa were the voters are your appointee??? Let them enjoy the tyrant they brought in out of hate and greed
