Cos if u keep trying to live godly by ur human strength, u will fail and get frustrated and probably give up.
As long as you are human and in ur body, u will have challenges, bc ur body is not born again, only ur spirit is. But ur Helper (the Holy Spirit) is by ur side waiting for u to say,
"Help me Holy Spirit." Believe me, He will.

My sister would rather give her friends money than give her siblings. She spends recklessly just to impress her friends. I'm not saying she shouldn't give other people but hers is not normal. I don't want Apetamin.
I wish there is some leaf that I can chew that will just make me instantly hungry.
Sometimes I see food and I just can't eat. And no matter how much pizza, coke and burgers I eat, nothing changes.
Please help me if you can recommend anything safe.

ReplyDeleteLet me tell you a little bit of my story,when I got born again newly maybe you can learn something from there. I will try to be brief because of time and battery.
So when I got born again newly,I was so self conscious. I try not to do things I consider unholy and against God. People will push me to the wall, some will quarrel with me,some will cheat me and even lie against me. Now I am this kind of no nonsense person,honest to a fault. Never supports evil. So my being born again started clashing with my personality. I will put down and I mean real down anyone who dare to cross me, not with calling you names or insult you but I will politely embarrass you,
But then,I have become a born again,these people are hurting me real bad.
So at one time I was on 21days fasting and prayer,I received all kinds of temptation in this prayer and I overcame but on the 21st day,this lady crossed my path in a most inhuman way,my ego was bruised. I was about walking away,when something in me sparked off. I gave her overdose of the real me. Infact I unleashed all I have ever endured at her to my fill. I could not complete the fast because I felt unworthy.
When I became sober,I told God that,I am so unworthy and that I cannot remain a born again anymore because I was offending Him, and I do not wish to hurt Him anymore.
.........Then I heard Him loud and clear, "Daughter I came to you because you are a sinner,not because you are righteous. I want to save you. Stop trying to be righteous in your might,let me help you,it is my job".
And then I replied wooihhhhhh!!!!! How???
He said again " be yourself and I will help you be what I want".
Okay then it is settled,all I did was read my bible,pray,have a heart for God.
But then,I noticed that gradually what I thought was my personality vanished. I mean when people cross me and I want to react,I find out that I have no strength to do that anymore. Sometimes people will call me and say TZ "did you just let this person get away with these insult"? And I will tell them that it wasn't even enough to provoke me.
I became a new person altogether. Sometimes when it gets too bad,the holyspirit will make me bring it up in prayer rather than reacting to them. And when I bring it up before Him,He consoles me and gives me a million reason to overlook it.
I became happier and more joyful and my spiritual life kept growing.
Hummmmmmphh!!! Long one!!!!
I hope you and any other person in this kind of situation understands one or two things here. And I hope it solves your question.
Finally,you can never be truly a believer without the holyspirit.
