DeleteDon't be deceived; they do feel pressured more than females especially when they get to their 30s. It's just that the society focus more on women.
I know of three different guys who were looking to get married but couldn't meet any suitable woman. They ditched their cars started hugging buses and BRT so as to have a wider dating pool to choose from.
That was how desperate they were, because the nature of their jobs didn't really allow much social interactions with the opposite sex except ones in their corporate environment.

I barely have the time and patience to socialize. When I decide to, the only girls I find around are heavy runz girls or intellectually bankrupt ladies. Being in Abuja doesn't help matters. Star girl, believe me the pressure is out of this world for me.

A man marrying at the age of 60 can get an 18 year old girl as long as he has money in our cultural context. But for the woman, reverse that and see all the curses on earth rained on her. A lot of ladies do not have realistic expectations.

I think that truly there is a possibility that at the time they are ready, the one once truly loved might be unavailable so the available becomes the truly loved before they go ahead to marry her. When a man is ready and goes allll the way with a woman, I don't think its simply because the woman is available.

Men really do marry women they are not in love with. One has to wonder if the wives know. It is damn sad to wake up and the first face you see and voice you hear is that of someone you feel nothing for.
