    1. We all have different husbands and know their characters. I will never take such an advice.
If I begin to praise my husband today, 2019 will pass by and I still never finish. God bless my darling husband for me, he brought me abroad 11years ago, gave me a bank card which I still have even though I'm now a chartered accountant and have a good job. He has never for once queried how I take money out of his account even though I hardly use it now as God has seriously blessed us. In as much as I'm earning well as a contractor in the city my husband never stopped the monthly allowance he pays me.
I just can't thank God enough for giving his son to me as a husband. May His name be forever praised πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™‡πŸ½‍♀️

    2. I won't take such advice, my husband makes sure i don't lack plus tells me everything about his finance. Why would I hide mine from him. Anyways it depends on the kind of person your husband is

    5. You so lucky, mine keeps taxing me, and never says thank you. He thinks its his right. I told him no today and hes giving me attitude. I am thinking of stopping my contract due to this. I hate men with no self pride.

  3. I will take it hook, line & sinker. I recently regretted telling my hubby I have joined cooperative in my office. Not that he disturbs for money ohh but I have heard too many stories & don't want to be a victim

    1. There’s just the thing about some guys and money. The moment they know or perceive you have some little money, they will start HOUNDING you to borrow them. They will never stop until they SMELL it has finished. And they rarely use it for anything reasonable πŸ˜πŸ˜’

      Delete
    2. So they will finish it and you will.m be back to depending on them. It’s insecurity. They mask it well but actions like these still show them out.

      You are WISE.
      That's simply it.
They drain you till the last drop so that you will continually cling to them in lack.
May God keep such evil souls from Satan away from me.

    2. It’s good you said ‘When one person is open’... as bad as we read of marriages, there are plenty great ones out there; it will be silly of a woman who has enjoyed openness and transparency in her home to take such advice. But grandma knows wetin her eye see before she talk that one

    3. Some men make it very sound advice for survival in my opinion.

    3. @1604, Except you file your taxes seperately from your husband, How can you hide that amount of money because you earn interest and the bank statements at the end of year will show the balance. So, when you file your taxes, earned interest comes in.
Maybe you are hiding it in your children's accounts to which you are a signatory.

    1. I’m sure you can cancel paper statements and opt for only digital ones. Lollll

    2. Call them that you want to opt out of paper statement or open an account with an online bank. Paper statements are optional!

    3. African Duchess, see your life. All of una agreeing to this nonsense, it's obvious you all have trust issues.
How is HSBC your problem🀷, when Banks even beg customers to go paperless, something you can log into your account and click that you don't want your statement sent to your address. You don't even need to walk into HSBC branch to stop paper statements. We understand you live in UKπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ welldone.
Continue deceiving yourself 😏😏😏😏😏. How much is that money you have sef wey you won dey hide from your husband 😏😏😏.

    6. And you lot have a stinking inferiority complex. So what if she lives abroad? Is it Heaven's Gate. Focus on giving her advice if you have anything sensible to say.
Should people now start hiding where she stay so others don't feel intimidated that they live in shithole?
      Who's business?

  19. It is one thing to give advice it is another thing to take the advice. There is no greater assurance than having a little something tucked away for rainy days especially as a woman. Some however don't agree with this, my friend brags with giving out all her money and not keeping any. Tor, every aboki with him kettle.

  25. I would take this advice, hook, line and sinker. I got married recently and I gave all I had as funds for rent. Now, I have nothing and I realised my hubby is laid back and even though he works, nothing, nothing.
I have never received a take for your hair or anything allowance. Even antenatal, I sort on my own. It's been so hard and I'm constantly moody and he is God's own son.
I have made my resolve to start saving from this Jan. Keep my money to myself hoping that this would make him sit up or something...

  27. I don't subscribe to this. may be because my hubby is open with his finances. I am open with mine too and he hardly ask for money. Instead he pays the bills and give me allowance sometimes.
