I used to be so addicted to my phones but somehow Motherhood has helped me cure/curb that addiction.....My three phones are permanently on silent and i miss all calls when they are not with me...I only use my phones when i need to and drop them if i need to get busy.....There was a time i would rather be with my phones than be with real people or do anything else....
I am outta this cell.............You?
Not yet.

ReplyDeleteStill here, basically most of the reading I have to do are on my phone even bible because hard copy will be torn to shreds by the babies.
ReplyDeleteBy the way where is Mama Tee Series?
Sometimes I prefer to be with. My phone than to be with people. At least the phone won't yell or speak loudly at you.
ReplyDeleteI'm becoming more irritated with certain people around me.
I'm still in that cell
ReplyDeletePartially in this cell.
DeleteI am sitting comfortably in that cell.
DeleteI am just getting into that cell because loneliness is a bastard... I would rather be imprisoned by my cell phone than worry myself to the point of sucide.
DeleteWhatsApp, Instagram and SDK BLOG is the heaven for me at this time....
I'm a new bv anyway, shout to ladybug, teejay, yaba left escape, blessed princess, olori orente, XP, small girl, the anonymous always trolling teejay and the host of others thanks for making this place a community.
Just entered..
ReplyDeleteFor now my phone is my shop! That's where I display my wares but I know where to draw the line. For my type of business, being online is very important.
ReplyDeleteI am in this cell ooo.
ReplyDeleteWill break free this year.
😂
ReplyDeleteI have disciplined myself from phone addiction.
ReplyDeleteI was also addicted to my phone that i will be having a conversation with someone and at the same time pressing my phone which is actually disrespectful.
ReplyDeleteI had to uninstall all my social media app except whatsapp and Linkedin which i see as a important and that decision has really helped me
2 blessed you mean?
DeleteI am jailed by sdkblog. @Blessed Princess.
ReplyDeleteOne leg in, one leg out. Every second I'm idle, I hold my phone but I drop it if I have to speak with people or do something important.
ReplyDeleteI don't choose my phone over other things but pick it up every chance I get
You don't have work, babies or some thing that keeps you menntally occupied. Lucky you!
DeleteNo longer a prisoner, thanks to my job. Can't attend to clients and press phone same time. Use my phone on off days or when I get back home.
ReplyDeleteI'm presently in this "cell" for business purpose. Asides that, my phone is always on vibe mode and in one corner somewhere.
ReplyDeleteWhatever. I am definitely not in any kind of cell.
ReplyDeleteMine is mobile phone so I am not imprisoned by it😀.
ReplyDeleteI'm outta it too.
ReplyDeleteYou'll see people in a get together with friends and everyone will be busy on phone such that you'll wonder why its called a get-together to mingle. One just need to deliberately let the phone rest, else you won't do any important thing.
I think I'm still in jail
ReplyDeleteI need it for Business..my line of work requires me to either be on my laptop or phone for at least 18 hours in 24 hours..
ReplyDeleteIf i'm not programming,i'm buying or i'm selling;so yea im a prisoner for life but na wetin dey pay my bill..
@MARTINS ABOY
Not sure if I was ever addicted to my phone but I know for a fact that I can do without it. I’ll make a very good candidate for BBN for sure.
ReplyDeleteMotherhood changed me too
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I'm not freaked about cell phone or electronic gadgets. I ve two phones and a tab, I just put on my data since yesterday and as for the tab, I haven't touched it in months now.
ReplyDeleteHumans ve become so addicted to these gadgets that they can't do without it for even an hour.I've gone days without my phone.Y'all should read this book 'Distracted' by Maggie Johnson, it tells more on the impact of technology on humanity.
Well am among. I hv a brother who is. Just graduated and all he does is play WHAT on his phone. Immediately he wakes up and also play it till like 4am d next morning wen every soul is sleeping. Hv called and advise still. My parents are concerned about his health. He does not allow his brain to rest. Infact my mom believe is spiritual or maybe is to break his phone. This guy is 26 oo
ReplyDeleteWithout my phone,I cant be in business
ReplyDeleteAbi now.
Deletemy wife is in this cell. She values pressing her phone more than attending to our baby. I don complain tire.
ReplyDeleteblow up that phone for there's nothing more precious than a baby😬😬😬
DeleteMy phone is like the center of my existence, I am always pressing it. I can press phone from morning till night.
ReplyDeletePerfect example of ' if loving you is a crime, let me be your prisoner' lol.
I learnt the hard way when I hit and dented a car in front of me while chatting on whatsapp. I had to bring out 20k for the repairs. Thankfully it wasn't much.
ReplyDeleteTo think it was while chatting with a friend arguing with me the time we should leave for a party. Can you imagine me inviting a friend for a party. She doesn't know the celebrant and she is arguing we are going too late that the food and fun would have finished.
Since thar day i don't invite her out. Her body too shake for party.
Just be happy you no kill person pikin.
DeleteBooks
ReplyDeleteI think I'm about to get really addicted. I'm currently taking a short course in digital marketing
I used to be in that cell but, Motherhood changed me.
ReplyDeleteI'm that cell
ReplyDeleteI am in that cell, because of business. Though I try not to be with my phone when I don't have customers to attend to but it is quite hard to break free, guess I am not trying enough as my reading habit is the one paying the price. 😢
ReplyDeleteI can literally run mad without my phone at my service
ReplyDeleteI'm addicted baby!
Stella how can we be out of this "cell" when we use our phones to get to your blog and enjoy the contents...no nah
ReplyDeleteI'm a nursing mother but in this cell...God help me out
ReplyDeleteIn the cell oo. God help me. My 5year daughter told me," mommy u want me to wake up, do my tea, feed myself, brush my teeth and bathe myself, so that u can be pressing phone". Bcos I've tot her and still teaching her to do her stuffs every morning so that I can be wit phone. I think its kinda shame.
ReplyDeleteYou need to reflect and set your priorities right. So you expect your 5 year old to do all this? Even make hot tea?? You are not a serious person.
DeletePlease when is the right time to give these kids phones? I feel like, NEVER!!! I am scared.
ReplyDeleteIs it at 12years? Or 60 years?🙈
When I am bored or less busy,I carry my phone. But when I am super busy, you can’t catch me. Even the palasa sef de suffer join the smartphone.
ReplyDeleteI'm out of this cell. Only use my phone when I am less busy
ReplyDeleteHurray!!!! I am now officially a billionaire. My valuation hit $2.8m today at market close which makes me a billionaire by Nigeria standard. Now is time to take it up a notch.
ReplyDeletecongrats o, can't wait to get there someday😉😉😉
DeleteMy brother would rather stay in his room and press 📱. My father concluded he is homosexual. Aw does that add up?
ReplyDeleteI'm not jailed by my phone.
