Jailed By Your Phone?

Some of us are imprisoned by our cell phones but we dont even know it....

I used to be so addicted to my phones but somehow Motherhood has helped me cure/curb that addiction.....My three phones are permanently on silent and i miss all calls when they are not with me...I only use my phones when i need to and drop them if i need to get busy.....There was a time i would rather be with my phones than be with real people or do anything else....

I am outta this cell.............You?

  4. Sometimes I prefer to be with. My phone than to be with people. At least the phone won't yell or speak loudly at you.
I'm becoming more irritated with certain people around me.

I was also addicted to my phone that i will be having a conversation with someone and at the same time pressing my phone which is actually disrespectful.
I had to uninstall all my social media app except whatsapp and Linkedin which i see as a important and that decision has really helped me

  11. One leg in, one leg out. Every second I'm idle, I hold my phone but I drop it if I have to speak with people or do something important.
I don't choose my phone over other things but pick it up every chance I get

  16. I'm outta it too.

You'll see people in a get together with friends and everyone will be busy on phone such that you'll wonder why its called a get-together to mingle. One just need to deliberately let the phone rest, else you won't do any important thing.

  19. I don't know why I'm not freaked about cell phone or electronic gadgets. I ve two phones and a tab, I just put on my data since yesterday and as for the tab, I haven't touched it in months now.
Humans ve become so addicted to these gadgets that they can't do without it for even an hour.I've gone days without my phone.Y'all should read this book 'Distracted' by Maggie Johnson, it tells more on the impact of technology on humanity.

  24. I learnt the hard way when I hit and dented a car in front of me while chatting on whatsapp. I had to bring out 20k for the repairs. Thankfully it wasn't much.
To think it was while chatting with a friend arguing with me the time we should leave for a party. Can you imagine me inviting a friend for a party. She doesn't know the celebrant and she is arguing we are going too late that the food and fun would have finished.
Since thar day i don't invite her out. Her body too shake for party.
