    4. Hello dear @Anon 8:16, be patient and give it like 3 more days. The lumps and pain will go away, you can use paracetamol to ease the pain.

      Delete
    5. Anonymous 8:16, just get your mind busy with other things.... It sometimes takes few days for some, while a week or so for others.

I will prefer you don't take any pain reliever, drink enough water instead.

      The Lord is your strength.

    11. Hello sweetie, i know that pain, gives you a massive headache as well. Tip is to breast feed the lil one for the last time. Trust me, the pain will subside afterr that. Done that 2x and it worked magic

      Delete
    12. Anon 9:57, letting the milk out will make the body assume she is still breastfeeding. The best option is the cabbage therapy advised ⬆️

Weaning a child is so painful. The pain will subside as the day goes by

    14. @ Juliet Jonathan, thank you. I know that too. I have been there. I said massage gently to let the milk out not like expressing it. The lumps will disappear with time. That's my mum's formula and it worked for me within a week. It is the sucking action of the baby or expressing that triggers more milk production.

  7. Yesterday I saw Ibrahim, Obanikoro's son, at VGC junction before 6am, monitoring traffic. He was with a LASTMA official and some people. Though it was still quite dark in the morning, I easily recognized him because of height and bald head.

NOW, that is how you campaign!

Ibrahim is contesting to be a Rep in Eti Osa, and he has shown that he knows Eti Osa, he knows where the traffic gridlocks are, and he is showing himself, so that the people of the community can see him in person and understand that he understands them.

BANKY W, is also contesting for the same post. However, is own campaign strategy is to blow grammar on TV and do fine boy - I admire him. Does BANKY W know where all Area Boys in Ajah gather? How many estate leaders does he know?

You have to know the people you want to lead, the people you want to lead have to know you.

Elections are not won on TV, they are on the streets.

How has Banky used his music as a tool to make life better for the average man? Now there's a gofundme page for his campaign funds, imagine.

    14. But Banky has been going from house to house. He was in Ajah a few days ago. Let's get our facts right please. He also said that people have been removing his posters coz the opposition is stronger which is why he's working online majorly. I believe he knows leaders too because his bestie's wife-Toolz is the daughter of a king. I think Banky is sincere in my opinion.

  9. “And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:” (Exodus 3:21 KJV)

It is no small thing to be favoured by God, especially when you are actually aware of how prosperous this idea truly is.

The favour of God is what makes the difference between the celebrated and the tolerated, success and failure, victory and defeat, promotion and demotion, fulfilment and frustration.

Favour is grace in expression, it is manifestation without the arm of flesh. When everything is working for you, evil turning out to be good, hatred breeding love, and betrayal turning into betterment! Yeah!

Favour is selling a man for thirty pieces of silver coins and the man turns out to become a prime minister in a foreign land, controlling the economy of that nation for thirteen years.

Favour means God is fully involved; directing, controlling and working while you hold your peace. Favour is when God is blessing you even when you doubt him.

This is what happened to Sarah and Zechariah in the Bible. Favour is receiving what you never asked for. Wow! Favour is when you do the shopping while someone else pays the bills.

People often say, grace makes a man function without struggle, while favour makes a man receive without asking.

One of the ways God shows His goodness to people is through favour.
We decree and declare that as you step out today, may you experience favour that will manifest all through your life in Jesus name.

    Say this prayer:
In the name of Jesus, I decree that from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me, I am truly favoured of the Lord, I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and reign as a king in life through Jesus Christ the Messiah. I decree by faith that I walk in divine favour today, I have preferential treatment, supernatural increase. Amen.
    Copied.

Good morning and have a lovely day.

  26. The cold and flu in Europe this winter is something else!

Yesterday was almost one of the worse days of my life.
I was in class when I got a call from my child school principal, telling me that I should come to his school immediately because his temperature was higher than 40d.

Gosh, I quickly spoke with my no nonsense lecturer and I left immediately. I was left with the choice of taking the train, bus or a taxi (you know one of those journeys that taking a train or a bus is a better choice than taking a taxi, due to road congestion)
Anyways, I shall got to my son's school and while on my way there, I called the emergency department and quickly booked an appointment for him with my own health insurance number, since his health book was not with me (a mistake I made, not writing his HB number on my phone)

I took him immediately to go see the pediatrician and series of tests were run, thanks to God Almighty, all the tests came out negative. I was written two syrups.
I gave him one of the syrups every three hours, he slept for hours and woke up late very hungry, I bathed him and fed him his dinner.

Thank God, he feels better this morning, although he's still sleeping.
By the way, he woke up four times in-between the night, just to drink water. He usually does this, he drinks a lot of water just like his mother.
I will not take him to school today, I will let him rest. Thank God, I don't have class today. I will just read for my upcoming exams.

My son has never been sick before, since I gave birth to him. I have never given him any syrup or any kind of medicine.
Yesterday, was a bit of a shocker for me.

Let me go and prepare his breakfast before he wakes up.

I have a lot of reasons to be grateful to my Creator.

Wishing you all a beautiful and productive day

House, my period takes 6 days to flow, I'm a mother of 4 and it's been like that since the beginning. Please, is there anything I can take or do to make it shorter?
I'm fed-up already. In fact, I'm tired of menstruation and I'm in my late 20s.
Don't waka pass I beg of you guys. Thanks as you give your suggestions.

    1. Your own is better at least it doesn't come with cramp. Better leave your body system the way it is, don't go and bring complications to your system by yourself. I don talk my own o

    5. Wow, how did you do that and you are in your late 20s with 4children? are you for real?
i raise beyonce hands for you.
back to your question, dont worry as you grow it will be reducing.

but if its with heavy flow for 6days, you need to see a doctor .
but wait a min, since it has been like that since , and you have been giving birth then you should have complained in between thoss years now

    6. It is normal, when I started my period, (although, I started late) it always lasted between five to six days, but, before my 28th birthday, it went between five to four days. As I clocked the big 3-0, it became "normal", three to four days.
Mind you, I have very big menstrual period..... I wear the biggest pads you can imagine, thank God for technology, these pads now comes in slim and thin, but still very wide with wings.

Always never did it for for me. It took me some years, to find the right sanitary pads brand.

    8. I know it is normal for us, Nigerians to equate pain with virtue or think it’s natural and so we have to bear it but I am of the opinion that If it is heavy flow and you’re uncomfortable. Talk to your doc about getting a Mirena IUD. - reduces flow, reduces pain and cramps. In fact, no pain at all, in my experience

I used to have very painful heavy flows. They said it will stop with childbirth, I have 2 kids but it was still as bad. You know the kind of pain that once it’s that time of the month, everyone around you knows cos of the pains. Co-workers, church members etc and it will be flowing with clumps

Then I found out about the mirena. My life has been a bliss in the Pst 5 years. Wow! The only thing I regret is that I didn’t find out about it earlier

Everything about motherhood is beginning to scare me:from pregnancy to childbirth;yesterday again someone shocked me, she told me that once a woman starts bearing children her hair starts getting weak and scanty. Please how true is that?

Dear beevees, pls I need help with respect to passport procurement in Rivers State. Where is the immigration office at? What are some likely things I should expect? How long can it take me to get it? I heard some people usually stay at the gate to intercept people going in, even harassing them sometimes. Is that true?

The bottom line is: I need it urgently!!. Can I get it that day or perhaps 3days later?
    Somebody help of

    1. If u have enough money to spend , you can get it within two days. The immigration office is at an a road. Close to hotel presidential if I am not mistaken. I haven't experienced any harassment of any sort though. From gra junction just ask anyone about immigration and they will show it to.

  44. Stella, so cold could make someoms unfriendly? Now I can relate with what someone I met online said. Always complaining about cold , barely calls nor pick up the call. Recently, I called for 4 days, no response or a return of the call, I kindly took him off my list and deleted the app. I miss him though but I can't stay with someone that doesn't communicate with me at least be it for one seconds, at least once a day or once in two days. At least, I was polite enough to Pre inform him about how I love communication. Stella, dnt swallow this comment again
