PDP Presidential Candidate Atiku Challenges Buhari To Report Him To EFCC

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has challenged President Muhammadu Buhari and anyone else accusing him of being corrupt to report him to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The former Vice President said this while dismissing corruption allegations levelled against him.

Atiku challenged those that have accused him of corruption to make their case known before the anti-graft agency.

The former VP said this in an interview with the Voice of America’s correspondent, Aliyu Mustapha.

Atiku said, “I have challenged everybody publicly or otherwise, that if you have any evidence of corruption against me while I was in public office or as a politician, feel free to go to EFCC or the court, but nobody has come.”

Atiku further explained that stronger laws and processes are needed to try those accused of corruption.

  1. Nonsense! There is a SEALED indictment for corruption against him in the US that will only be opened when he is arrested and taken to a US court. If he has nothing to fear why is he cringing here like a baby hiding behind its mother's skirt and making noise? Let him visit the US joor and shame his enemies!

    1. The same APC accusing him of fraud in US are also blocking the America embassy of giving him visa. Didn't you watch the protest they did at the embassy with a sponsored rented hungry individuals, chanting Atiku shouldn't be offer a visa. Then I asked, wouldn't it have been better if they had facilitated his going there so that he will be arrested over there? At least it will be a smooth sail to them at the election. When he was with them all along, why didn't this come up? I ask again, what do APC really want?

  2. Now this is it... I keep saying it, that this government and the people that keep shouting Atiku is corrupt on the pages of newspaper should step up their game by prosecuting him, but no they won't do it. Now Oga Atiku has given them the green light to do so. What other excuse are they going to give now? They better act now or forever remain silent.

  8. I am sure if he's granted Visa he would go to USA, but one cannot visit another country without a valid visa. If they have any evidence against him he could as well be arrainged in Nigeria.
