Imagine was there this festive period after booking ahead and was told no diesel to run the place. Was given an option of Collecting my money and going to another hotel. Would rather prefer Peter Obi that guy is an economist and sound.

I wish that your doggila should be our Naija president but without looting or corruption. Sorry kwaroption and without gwavanament stagnancy, with 24/7 power, with accountability and equity/technical know-how.
We have never had a president or vice in Nigeria. We've always had "traffic wardens for looters".

If only we all put sentiments aside and keep our emotions in check, we will understand that this present administration have been able to deliver at least 50% of its campaign promises.

Is President Muhammadu Buhari sturbbon? Yes!.
Does He take his time before making critical decisions? Yes! reason why he was tagged baba Go slow.

Honestly, The rot in our system is so much that one person alone cant do the job. If only those in sensitive positions take responsibility for their actions instead of heaping every blame on the President.

I'll have to copy VICTOR ASEMOTA'S Tweet word for word because honestly, i dont know how type or write much in English. but his tweet reflected the true situation of things in this country.

"I don’t think Nigeria can be ever be fixed.

Not as people think it should be fixed

To fix it, you have to break it apart, clean it up and put it back together again.

It is too fragile to break apart to clean. The grime has sunk into all the cracks and now part of the structure"

I cant begin to explain things that i have seen in my little stay in this city. But i sincerely hope you understand and Know that President Muhammadu buhari is not Nigeria's Enemy as percieved by people. Even gentle Jonathan was hated more than this while he was in office but when He came out, we came to understand that those he was surrounded with manipulated things. Oh God they stole crazy without him being aware.

Will i vote for President Buhari? YES!. I want continuity!. I love the fact that he did not bow to intimidation from the National Assembly and went on to present the budget without giving one naira bribe. I love the fact that he is keeping these HOES on their TOES.

    6. Sugar you are the best. Now I am sure more than before sensible Nigerians will bring back Buhari come February. Politicians are noise makers, they are all about themselves, going about hunger in the land but we all know the truth the hunger is about their them not able to steal, loot like the old order.

  7. Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson President of Iceland 🇮🇸 is the kind of president that I like.

I also love Angela Merkel... That woman is a super woman to me, she survived difficult times and today, she is one of the most respected women all over the world

I used to like Emmanuelle Macron until recently, his policies are wack and not in favour of the people he promised to work for. In the last few months, it has been one riot episode or the other.

Bring Putin (sadist that he is notwithstanding), give him our abundant resources and Nigerians will forget how to spell corruption in less than one month. Those that will die will die. Those that will disappear will vamoose. Many will be locked up but he'd get the job done. I am trying to imagine Huncle Vlad watching Dino melaye's drama for eight whole days and the picture just wouldn't come up.

Abeg I am assuming that we will just import the leader and not allow him join APC/PDP first o. Eh-hen. Because Naija politicians can make corruption look so sexy to anyone.

  18. This is an interesting discussion to have this day as we  await  the coming month for the nation's Presidential election.

My Ideal President comes with a lot of packages if I am to say. I would have love to mention an individual as an ideal President that I want, just like I love the Presidency attribute of Nelson Mandela but let me concentrate more on what I want from that Ideal President.

First and foremost, he must be a nation builder. Nigeria, at the moment needs that individual at the helm of affairs that will heal the injuries suffered by some sections of the country due to neglect and marginalization. Only on this aspects can every section be united and feel belonging. At such moment, building a nation becomes easy as every component will be tied in unity.

A President with a digitalized mindset. So unfortunate we haven't gotten a youthful President vast with technological prowess and knowledge. When we do have one as such, the education and medical sectors will be reformed and record tremendous success and growth, for we will try in catching up with other developed countries on procurement and usage of  modernized equipments.

Another ideal President I would crave for is one with a restructuring agenda. Nigeria being a complex state needs to be restructured. Power should be decentralized. When the exclusive powers being enjoyed by the executive is shifted to the state and local government, it makes government at the center less attractive. Powers should be vested on the component part of the federating unit, i.e the state, who in turn is being oversee by the government at the center. This singular act will foster rapid development and growth among the states, as they stand to be competitive  measures among each state to create and generate revenue.

A President with the rightful knowledge to tackle and handle insurgency to bring it to a halt.

A president that will unite Nigeria from ethnic and religious lines and not the one that will give preference on the zone he received more percentage of vote.

Finally, a President that won't be caged by some group of individuals (cabal). So as to deliver dividends of democracy.

A President that won't stifle the press or media but encourage constructive criticism as to keep governance on check.

    1. Less I forgot, having a President that will diversify the economy will be my ideal President. Other natural resources must be looked into and the solely dependence of crude oil as the major revenue of the country mustn't be encouraged. Agriculture produce can do whole lot for the nation including other untapped resources.

    12. TeeJay, won hands down; he kept his responses to certain aspirations in his known environment (Naija) and not some foreign/borrowed nation; he also, talked about possible solutions to challenges in the Naija political terrain without burying his head under the sand, like many ostriches here. In case una forget, hear it again: charity begins at home.
