Police and state officials are investigating the rape of a female patient in a vegetative state in a nursing facility.
The woman stunned workers when she went into labor on Saturday because they didn't even know she was pregnant.
The woman has been in a vegetative state at the Hacienda Skilled Nursing Facility in Phoenix for at least 14 years after a near-drowning incident
But nobody knows who got her pregnant...
An employee at the facility, who didn’t want her name or face being used, said staff could not believe what unfolded inside the victim’s room.
"How could it happen? And just anger and sadness, and sick to my stomach,” the employee said. "None of the staff were aware that she was pregnant until she was pretty much giving birth."
When asked how the staff was alerted that the woman was going into labor, the staffer, who admits she was not in the room, said she had been moaning all morning. A nurse who was in the room delivered the baby boy, who is healthy.
But right now, no suspects have been named.
The anonymous staffer said this patient required round the clock care, and many would have had access to her room.
Because of her condition, the woman would not have been able to defend herself, nor communicate that she was pregnant, according to the staffer.

A sample was to be taken from my vee with a swab.

They knew that girl was pregnant, my concern now is, who will take care of the baby because there were not much written about the baby.
I don’t think taking care of the baby will be a big deal. The family will do that or it will be given up for adoption. Afteralll if the woman’s family can afford to put her in a home, they will afford to look after her baby too.

I believe the lady was in vegetative state doesnt mean she isnt breathing on her own, she isnt ventilated otherwise she wont be in nursing home. She will be in ICU. ReplyDeleteFor her not having her monthly period might be missed by the cargivers, considering her health status or the medications she is taking. However she can still bleed though not heavy with pregnancy (I did for the 1st trimester).
For her feeding, she is most definitely having proper nutrition via feeding tube either through the stomach(G-tube/peg tube) or nosetril (naso gastric tube).
Last last, they will do a DNA test to prove paternity. Then if it is a criminal offense, jail term with charges of RAPE awaits the culprit. The care givers, nurses, doctors have a grueling case ahead of them. Their licenses are at stake. The direct care staff may loose their licences and all those who maybe through collusion, omission, neglect etc contributed to a criminal act.
This malicious lie needs to stop that someone used syringe to inject sperm to get pregnant. Condoms break and oh yes I have seen many that were using condom and still get pregnant. My elder brother and wife are typical example. No form of protection is 100%.

Someone raped that woman. About fifteen years ago, same thing happened in Washington state. A female disabled patient in a care facility didn’t get her period. The staff who used to give her her sanitary supplies was surprised but thought it might just be late. Two months later, the patient had severe lower abdominal pains, followed by bleeding. When they took the patient to the Hospital, the Doctor stated she was having a miscarriage. This is a disabled girl. They now launched an investigation and took DNA samples of all male employees. It was a Kenyan guy!! Very handsome clean cut Man. He was married too. Dude took off to Kenya but was arrested and extradited back after six months. I could not believe it. So, to those who doubt this story, do not. It does happen. Some men just can’t control their joy stick. No self discipline.
