Most times waiting patiently to see your reaction. You don't always have to defend yourself especially when you're sure you are on the right path
Most might feel you're beneath them while others just want to drag you down to their level.
Whatever the case remember they don't know your struggles, your gains and your aspirations.
They have time to dissect other peoples life, since their life is stagnant, eniti titie ti jona

ReplyDeleteI love this story. It makes a lot of sense. I have started applying this wisdom to my life BUT mehn...some people will test the patience of a saint. Sometimes, you can't just help but strike back. I don't bully people so I hate it when I'm bullied. Some days I shake my head and walk away, other times, I give as good as I get. God help us
ReplyDeleteA lady really frustrated me at my job yesterday. All I told her was that silence is not an act of cowardice and I walked away. Cos I said it with a smile in the presence of everybody, she kept avoiding me for the 14 hours I spent there.
ReplyDeleteTrue talk. At least it serves as a reminder. My hubby need to read this, he always want me to reply his relatives each time they annoy me, I won't do so. I always tell him that silent is golden.

ReplyDeletesometimes when you are quiet,they will feel that its because you are scared of them and they will keep on hurting you and taking you for a fool. sometimes giving them the silent treatment gives them the liver to do more because they know that you won't do anything
