  14. But, I heard there are people in that same Nigeria πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ that pay their domestic workers in dollars!

250k in a month is not a huge amount of money compare to what the maid will be doing.

  15. This is not a game oo!!
I know some people in Lekki that pay their help 150 thousand a month and they have two kids. They travel out at least twice a year with the help. Na first class sef.
I feel happy for the help whenever they are here. Very quiet and reserved lady. But, l hate the way they use her sha. Na Sidon look l de do. Even remote madam nor fit stand up get. Young madam oh.

    1. But you pay tax, your rent is more expensive, your feeding is more expensive, fixing your car is more expensive, if you fall sick you pay like 1000x the amount you pay in Nigeria.
250k is more than okay in Nigeria walahi! That is resident doctor salary.

    2. Wow! Even without papers?

      May God help us. AMEN

    3. Ada Bekee, my rent is $400 a month with utilities, I spend like $150 on food stuff a month, I have steady light, internet, no gra gra to do anything, I haven’t been sick since I left naija.
It’s like you don’t know most of the sickness in Naija is hygiene issue, mosquito breeds in swamp and dirt and kills more than any sickness
My dear forget o....you won’t understand sha...I didn’t come here as a child so I lived in Naija well so I know you can’t compare.
I don’t have paper so the money I receive is after the company have deducted the tax.
Nigeria is suffer head I swear

    4. You spend 550 dollars a month out of 690 on necessities, what do you now save?? Abeg it's very expensive.

    5. Ms Lynn, did you close your eyes to the part that $690 is per week or you just dont understand English???

Assuming your assertion was even right, he has $140 after paying all his bill right. How many non graduates in Nigeria today have 69k sitting in their account after paying their monthly bills?

      Delete
    6. Anon are you minding Ms Lynn. He makes $690 per week making it $2760 per month minus the $550 expenses he still has more than $1000 in a month. If u want to stay in 9ja and suffer dont try to justify ur suffering by bringing down another man's hustle
