Though my stomach isn't big, but not as flat as it used to be, so I still wear girdle anytime I wanna slay in a fitted dress.
Hubby wants more kids, but I'm personally done cos I don't wanna risk having to go for CS if I try to get pregnant again.
He's on his own, cos being pregnant isn't a child's play as I always get totally transformed to another person.
I don't have any major health challenge thankfully, but I'm done with that stage of my life , time to face my career squarely.

    3. Be quite both of you!
What's your headache with my personal decision?
The only reason why I said that is because most people I know that did CS have this permanent bulgy stomach, as they can't press it with hot water after delivery, not because I see d procedure as a taboo.
My flat tummy is very important to me and I don't think that should bother you.

      Delete
    4. You can do cs and have a flat tummy. Just work on your food/calorie intake and exercise.

      Delete
    5. Bolus so you believe hot water is what reduces the tummy after giving birth. Ask yourself how many of your granmas have flat tummys like the average caucasians after all the pressing they did? You better go an exercise and stop being ignorant that cs causes a bulgy stomach...

      Delete
    6. So if you were in a situation, you will worry more about how flat your tummy would be afterwards? Oh shocks!

      Delete
    7. I did can and my tummy went down to even less than normal because of no appetite due to stress. No need to press tummy with hot water at all. It's all about how much you eat. Though my tummy was not very big. People didn't even know I was pregnant at 6 months. Lost weight during pregnancy due to extreme vomiting and nausea. Twin pregnancy is no joke.

I tried doing Keto but I noticed it wasn't necessary as I was loosing weight gradually. Who needs keto when I have the E girls. Both can trouble for Africa eeeeeh.

  13. I went back to shape after child birth. I only added a little weight during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Now I don't even look like I have any child. I think it depends on the body system and also the eating habits of some women. Some women eat too much food during pregnancy and beat so much weight, their stomach too will be very big as a result of big baby. When they give birth, the big stomach will still be there. I added weight but not much because I ate healthy food and not plenty food. Plenty fruits and vegetables and milk and pregnancy drugs. When i reached 7months, I cut down on eggs and milk and all those. But kept on taking fruits and vegetables everyday. I gave birth through CS to a not too big baby. She however had very strong bones, long black hair, beautiful clear skin and clear white eyes. Even my mother in law brought 'tiro' one dark powder that yorubas use as eyeliners for newborns, I said it clears babies eyes to avoid future eye problems, I quickly told hubby to reject it and he told her that his baby's eyes are clear and white and don't any clearing as she could see. My mum said I should be eating hot yam pepper soup and the rest to 'melt' the remaining blood since I can't use hot water therapy, my mother in law also said I should be eating hot semo and Amala, and the rest. I refused. I only took plenty pap mixed with milk and bournvita. I also took very light semo in small quantity per meal. I avoided cold water too. My stomach went flat within a short time. When I went for immunization, I saw another lady who also delivered with CS during my time in the same hospital, her stomach was long like seven month pregnancy, she blamed it on CS, I reminded her that we both did it, I then asked her what she was eating and she mentioned hot yam pepper soup, fufu and the rest. I screamed. women who did CS don't need all those, they have already packed all the blood from your womb after they took out your baby, you don't need to melt any blood, except your doctor was not good. Don't eat strong food and heavy food.

After all d extra extra forced food, my tmy finally looked pregnant at 8months and d Drs insisted I keep eating, d moment d baby dropped ,I went FLAT! 3.3kg with all d mad food I ate. Different babies, different experiences.
You don't know what people are battling.
You might never know what is making the next person put on weight.
That it worked for you the way you planned doesn't mean others are not putting in much effort.

You had it easy? Was it because you are God? Instead of you to thank God. You think the heart and lung situation is because of abortion? Or the supposed abortion made her able to conceive one and no more?

Hope you poster also revealed your own health status to your horseband like the number of men you slept with before meeting him and the number of Abortions you did. Oloshi

  17. Uurrghh just finished typing and everything vanished.
Pregnancy was easy breezy, gained weight after and have done everything to shed but it's still here, from S12 flat tummy to S16 with really pronounced tummy.
Shoe size moved from s40 to s41 so had to change entire shoe wardrobe and it sucks.
Hate pregnancy because of this and might consider surrogacy because I am very conscious about my body.
All those mentioned above is the tip of the iceberg as my lovely daughter is having developmental growth brought on by mild cerebral palsy and its really mentally emotionally and financially draining.
Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy because when you know that you did everything right and more in pregnancy and to have this as a first time mother is just crazy.
When you see kids that came a year after your baby walk and talk and do all the things a child is supposed to, it's really painful but our hope is in God to do the impossible for us.

  22. I wanted to send doctors in house last year. I sent in LRD about my three kids. I'm the woman that had no contractions and the babies literally fell out. The thing is due to the way the first two babies came out, they tore my vagina anyhow a cut would have been much better due to the precision the doctor or midwife would cut the vagina. My people the thing is I don't enjoy sex anymore, I hardly feel any sensation down there. My husband has been amazing and understanding. Sex is now a serious chore and I'll rather do without. When I look at my kids , I just shake my head , they will never know what their birth has caused me physically and sexually. My husband tries and he does oral sex but I read about some bacteria in the vagina and how it can be transferred through oral sex and cause serious illness. I've explained to him, he said I over think and I should relax and enjoy but I find that hard to do. Sometimes I think if this sex ish persist , he will have go outside and help himself other times I think him having a side-kick won't be so bad at least he won't bother me about sex again. It's sad because he's just 40 and I'm 36, meanwhile I lost my sex drive at 29 when I had my second baby. It is well.

When side chick steps in, you are finished -adultery if a sin.
When Side chick gets pregnant and have a child, you are completely finished.
And how about the disease you fear; you think he won't ever have sex with you?

Please if you can afford it, see a therapist..and not a 'religious one but a trained marriage counselor and psychologist

  28. I took in immediately after my wedding.the pregnancy journey was smooth until a month after I gave birth.I started feeling dizzy, palpitations, sweating profusely, tensed, insomnia, headaches.why eating,I can describe how the food was passing through from my throat down.low energy.I went to the hospital.did different kind of test.from ECG,FBC,thyroid test, scans.it all came out clear, only my b.p was high.My b.p being high increased everything. I thought i was going to die,cos my mum died 3 months after giving birth to my younger brother.i thought history was about to repeat itself.I was later diagnosed with postpartum anxiety disorder.I was placed on sertraline and then referred to yabaleft oo.na so I turn patient there, but Stella that drug saved me.I was on it for six months.when I felt DAT I have gotten better,I stopped the drug by mistake ( biggest mistake).I had awful withdrawal symptoms. After three months of stopping,I had a relapse.am currently battling it.I am still praying to God to sort my issue out.na born I born oo...forget typos

    1. You don't just stop the drugs. You reduce bit by bit until you come off completely. Instead of daily, try every other day for 2 months. Then every 2 days for 1 month. Every 3 days for 1 month. Once a week for 1 month and so forth. Avoid stressors and things that trigger the anxiety.

    3. Do not manage medication on your own. Do it alongside your doctor so you can be monitored.
I am happy you got help. A lot of women get post partum depression and anxiety disorder and never get diagnosed. I am proud of you. Please stay on course. You're doing great!

There are a lot of women who end up in the psych clinic cos of childbirth. Our society turns a blind eye because child birth is supposed to be a joyous thing, but the body goes through so much that the physical and mental toll can be too much to bear.

  30. I had Carpel tunnel Syndrome that numbs the palm. It felt like my palms were frozen and this occurred in the second trimester till a month after delivery. The doctor prescribed Calcium supplements but I didn't want to take them for 6months so I opted for Evaporated milk as a substitute. It made me add so much weight that it became a struggle loosing it after delivery. I had my baby through Elective CS though but I suffered depression for about 6months because I lost my father 2weeks before I had my baby. I didn't know depression was real until that trying period in my life because I had TTC for 5 years and was really looking forward to my dad seeing my baby after all the prayers and blessings he had showered on me all those years. It is well Sha.

  31. I had breast cancer ten years ago and my oncologist told me that because the cancer is hormone dependent that I should probably not get pregnant because pregnancy causes a dramatic spike in the hormones and that could cause the cancer to come back, and it may come back in a place that they are not able to treat it. I took their advice and never attempted to get pregnant. I could have taken the chance, but I was truly never burning for motherhood even before the cancer. I did go to the fertility clinic under the encouragement of my doctor to possibly consider egg preservation since I was still so young, but after they took 18 unuts of blood on the first visitπŸ˜‚πŸ™„ and wanted me to take a host of drugs I decided that shit was not for me. God bless those who go through the fertility clinic route and Ivf, that is some stressful shit, forget the money, the process is physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding and you may not find any success with it, or end up with some other sickness from all the hormones pumped into you. Pray for anyone you know doing Ivf, trust me, they need your love and prayers.

I am childless and I feel no sorrow about it. I do not envy mothers or desire their lives. I hope those who are seeking to get their opportunity to experience motherhood that it brings them all the joy they thought it would. For those who cannot be physical mothers, then opt to be spiritual mothers, or just make a commitment to have a full life in other ways. Heaven is for everybody so don't despair your fate on earth.

Mrs. Sharon so you desire and so shall it be. You will carry and birth your own children. Start eating well and exercise to prepare your body to make and carry a child or children. Take blackstrap molasses everyday 1-2 tablespoons to sweeten your tea daily. Get as healthy as you can get and prepare your body. Keep away from all soy containing foods, even soybean oil. Soy is known to contribute to infertility. Have your husband consume onion juice and also eat watermelon regularly both are known to improve sperm in quantity and quality. God bless.

  32. I labour for about 18hours. I was 7 cm dialated when the doctor notice my baby was distress and her heart rate was dropping v fast. I was book for an emergency cs n the baby was removed in less than 20 minute. Baby had the cord in her neck reason for the distress and there was no amoitic fluid for her to swim tro. I lost the water during the long labour. After the cs I was blooted for 7 days. I did the naming ceremony looking like a cow with a fat tummy. But 3 days after the naming. I went back to my shape. I mean the size I had b4 I got pregnant. I was suprise myself. My belly went flat n i lost all the baby fat. Baby is just 1 month old n i look like I never had a baby. I am just lucky bc there was no post pregnancy care for my body but it obey. I belief the post baby body varies from one woman to another. Is just nature. I never tied my belly or use hot water to press it. But I tell you i look like the 9 month pregnancy never happened.

  33. My first two pregnancies were awesome, post-baby body wise.

Generally, with my first three, I had it all easy. Lost almost all pre pregnancy weight and my tummy was absolutely in place even after birthing a 4kg baby vaginally. Except for the few stretchmarks that came with my third, I was as good as new.

With the fourth & last, I can't say it's the same. Even after gulping many wraps of Aju Mbaise which I used for others...and it's six weeks already!

Las las, I will look at incorporating work out sessions. I am done and really thank God for blessing us with the desires of our hearts.

    1. Pregnancy and delivery was drama free.
The only place I had issue was the pains s I had as a result of the episiotomy. For almost a week I couldn't stand, sit, walk well. Thank God for my mum's friend that recommended gentamicin ointment, it was what subsided and finally stopped the pains.

I weighed 50kg before pregnancy, 73kg on the night I delivered, its been 6 months now, I checked my weight 3 weeks ago and it was 58kg.
All my clothes are still sizing me, my friends say I maintained my shape, that I don't look like I have a baby. On my wedding people didn't believe I have dropped, but me know say body changed. My rummy is not as flat as it was before pregnancy but it's not too bad either.

I never really had swollen legs during pregnancy. It will swell and reduce at will, but 2 days after delivery, I had the biggest legs ever. They swole from knee to my feet, this was something that never happened during pregnancy. They said it's water retention, that I should urinate often. But the fear of the pains made me urinate only once a day. finally, the legs went back to normal, the pains of the episiotomy stopped, I stopped having an electric shock kinda feeling whenever baby latches onto my breast and a whole lot of other things.

I thank God for a healty me and mini me. She is beginning to take few steps in crawling and it's such an amazing sight. Though in her walker, she can scatter every every, but I still love everything.
My prayer is that God grants those looking unto him for this gift their own bundle of joy and when we are ready again, let him bless us with more and let the journey be drama-free. AMEN

    2. @Mhiz A, that's exactly me after each of my 4 births. I can't do a thing for myself after delivery. I was thinking of elective CS for my last cos of the humongous pain I usually have post vaginal delivery, but I was discouraged.

From inability to walk, sit, episiotomy/tear pains, edema etc. It's usually hellish. I envy ladies who are agile after delivery, that's so not me!

  37. My sis God can bless anybody. Make u no looku down on anybody. I love the song.

When I was single, I was staying in a face me I slap u house. One of my friend living with her parents will always yab me that no man will take me serious for marriage that they don’t like girls that live alone. I look at my self and told God, look at me oo, I am not a wayward girl and I know ur ways are not ours. I was just trying to make my self better and make a honest living so I can help my parents in d village. Eventually, God sent someone to meet me in dat my cubbicle and we got married. But that’s not all I want in life. I’m still praying for God to open more doors for me and elevate me beyond where I am now. This is just to say God doesn’t think like us. I got married and didn’t post a picture on the gram. I only told people with mouth when they see me with ring. So most were thinking there was no money for an elaborate wedding lol. That’s exactly how I want them to think o jarey. my life is a testimony and I keep praying for God to bless all my friends.
