Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has expressed thanks to Nigerians for their concern following the chopper incident earlier today in Kabba, Kogi State.

The chopper carrying the Vice President had crash landed after a landing incident, but everyone is safe.

Prof. Osinbajo is now in Kabba after the incident and continuing his engagements in the State, engaging the people on the Next Level plan of the Buhari administration.

“We are safe and sound. Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern, and thank you to the crew who managed and the situation well. We believe that God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe even as we go higher. We continue Next level engagements in Kabba, Kogi State,” the Vice President said.

Speaking at the Obaro of Kabba’s Palace, his first stop in his ongoing visit to Kogi State, Prof. Osinbajo expressed gratitude to God for the deliverance from the Chopper crash.

He added, “We are extremely grateful to the Lord for preserving our lives from the incident that just happened. Everyone is safe and no one is maimed. God has kept us safe and alive, delivered us from death so we can do more for our people and country.”

  1. This is God's way of telling Prof to seek for forgiveness and mercy. APC has destroyed this nation beyond redemption.

    2. And P.D.P is the saint ba? Atiku/Obi is not the answer to Nigeria's problems. Everybody keeps saying A.P.C destroyed Nigeria, P D.P ruled for 16years, and no solution...and you expect A.P.C to fix everything within 4 years? Let us be realistic here Princess

    3. It could have happened to anyone irrespective of their relationship with God. This cut across our shared humanity as humans, to sympathise and show concerns to those who aren't on the same page with us politically. The sanctity of human life comes above partisanship.

    5. HRH EKEH, someone is trying so hard to convince me on why should it be the same Kogi state where the President slipped off on the podium and now the VP fell off from the sky. Surprising thing is that they said it is the village of Deji Adeyanju that has been incarcerated by the same government the chopper crashed. I am still sipping my drink as I am listening to them.

    8. We thank GOD for saving the occupants !! This is actually a warning from GOD to those who think that they can destroy the children of God , kill innocent women and children or support those who do !!!!! Buhari, liar Muhammed, Oshiomole and co take note . Christians are praying, the blood of the innocent children massacred in Benue ,Taraba, Plateau , and other state is crying daily to GOD and HE has heard !!!!! Change your ways or face the consequences !!!!

    1. But wait ooh, after the crash the professor couldn't check in for a scan or test for possible internal bleeding or better still have a rest in appreciation to what God did for him, but continued his campaign. Does he value their re-election bid over his own life? Wouldn't he have cancel the campaign lies and take some rest? What if he had die in the process? Truth is that Nigeria will move on after some days of national mourning. No one is indispensable is an indisputable fact everyone show understand.

    3. Information said he came out without a scratch, don't you think he did the right thing by continuing with his agenda for the day then stopping it entirely when lots of people were already awaiting his coming.
Personally, I think he did the right thing.

  9. Build good roads they won’t here. They travel via helicopters and private jets but forget those ones crash too. This here is favour for this guy. Helicopter crashes are usually fatal and they burn fast when they crash.
