Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative...

Hmmmmm....

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
MONTHLY UPKEEP BROUHAHA

Hi Stella, good day...greetings to all sdk family
.

I have this issue bothering me about my family finance.....hubby receives about 350k plus every month and we have a son of 2yrs....for a long time it seems the entire money gets finished month in n month out....

I have a business I am running but saving as much as I can so we don’t touch the  money...d annoying part is that we don’t even take ourselves out for treats....I have a list of how monthly expenses go but lately hubby complains n it seems like I don't have saving culture or something, but then we follow a list every month. Please help me and advise please,we intend to start building and this whole expenses thing is disturbing me too much.......

Below is the monthly breakdown....and yes he gives me upkeep money even though I am running a business. Please help me post where its deem fit,I am tired of thinking. Thanks Stella

*90k for diapers?Madam,it is time to start trying to get your kid off diapers..I succeeded in getting my Bambinos off diapers at 2....Start trying please...
What do you mean by baby food?..what does your baby eat that is so expensive?

So these things you buy ,do they finish and you have to buy same things again the next month? What does upkeep money for you mean?To make your hair and all?Do you spend all every month?

I believe that you can save money out of these amount and i think its good that you have a list but dont you get these things cheaper sometimes?I really dont know how to advice you but try usingi half of the money to run the house for a month without telling him and seeing how it goes......

As for building,if you guys dont have bulk money to build what are you doing?causing stress!!!

*90k diapers was an error ..

Feed your kid the food you eat
12k for pando yam?????? How many kgs?
5k beverage? You guys must eat alot oooo!

    2. Madam you are not serious, 90000 for diapers? 35000 for feeding a 2year old? What is he eating? You are behaving like I was when I had just one child, I was using huggies that was 20000 for a pack, and cemelac etc, down to his snacks everything was over priced, nobody told me to change format when I had the second and she was one.
Aunty you can use angel diapers which is also good, you can use peak123 for his milk, just cut down hunny cut down so you can even save for yourself.
Your son is two so why is he still using it, he can wear just at nights then you potty train during the day.
Do you eat yam everyday? Why 5000? For just two people?
So are you trying to say with 350k you can not raise a second child? Reduce your standard of living so you can save to build your own house, and enjoy much later.

    3. Tissue, 1k a month? Toothpaste 1k? Even if u are using sensodyne.
Poster, you need to cut off some things.
Don't buy from supermarkets, look for wholesale sellers and buy from them.

    4. I just recalculated and mehn, and even though it's 9000 for diapers, it's still to much, a 2year old should be eating what you are eating, just a little cereals here and there, introduce pap too, I still have a problem with your yam and even the detergent, I think you should get a job and start contributing so that your hubby can save, you need to save for the future abeg. Yes you are wasteful.

    5. This woman sef I hope this is not how you write list and show your friends and open your yansh outside. Then they start envying you cos their hubby don't even give them half. You need to be wise as a married woman, handle something's yourself. Finances is a dicey thing. Things you can't handle you must have a mother/aunty/senior sister.
See how people are finishing you. You asked for it anything.

    6. If your baby's food is 35k a month, then who eats the noodles, plantain and eggs?
      Yam 5000?
My dear poster, you really need to cut down.

    10. Please I will like to understand the différence between stock fish / crayfish/ dry fish and then you have soup and stew below. Also you need to start shopping from open market for both Toilettries and edibles. Do you both actually finish all that every month? Somethings should be leftover to reduce expenses the following Month. Does your man eat a lot? In between all of these, there’s wastefulness.

Please help him Nne. I believe you can do it before financial BP take over .

    11. The 350k your hubby is earning looks like 350million to you that is why just 2 of you consume 5k yam a month.

Aside weekend, your hubby eats once/twice a day if he takes food to work. Abeg who dey eat the other food?

What kind of business are you even doing that you can't potty train your child? Use water to wash your child at home. Wipes should be for only outings.

As it is your husband doesn't have savings. He struggles to pay rent and other bills I guess.

Building a house is out of it now. Learn how to manage first.

    15. Madam pls cut down, my boy is same age with your baby, he eats everything, no diaper. I only wake at night twice to take him out so he can pee.
Pls cut down on that baby food. As for diaper you can be doing nights alone till you train him on how to pee at nights.
Look for wholesale shops and buy things from, their prices are not outrageous.
At 350k you guys should be able to save. That your upkeep you can still save little from it.
      Pls apply wisdom.

You spend more than 50% of your money for the house; poundo 12k is too much for the house; eggs: 2400 and that is like two crates of eggs in a month( i don't know your eating habits though)- if this will only mean portion control, it will go a long way to reduce your living expenses or how do you intend paying rent with this or start building? This is way too much madam

  14. Madam, this too much for a family of 3. Yam 5,000, then poundo yam 12,000. Omo 4500. It is either you are not getting the value for your money at the market. The things up there should last 2 months. Baby wipes and diaper. One economy pack should be enough for the child, or 3 for two months. I think you just need to get your money at the market.

    ReplyDelete
  17. SDk I think the diaper says 9k.

Meanwhile with these expenses in a month, you can't build house oo, because the man never send money to his people, he never buy anything for himself etc, so like yiu said the money finishes month in and out. (Living from paycheck to paycheck).

What kind of baby food is 35k? and I don't even think the bill is finished, because I no see nepa bill, house rent (if any).

You need to start buying things in bulk. Scratch that baby food, feed him/her the food you eat and save money.

That list can only be moderate if the list was encompassing...like plantians..potatoes...waffles...frozen pizza....and I will understand...she has a lot of variety hence the list..make she go sleep..and find a way around it..if she need help..make she click my link send me mail..I can help her draw an encompassing budget..not this crap that is up there...

Explain taking child to school please? do u mean for cab? Omo 4,500? are you running a laundry biz? She should really start shopping from Balogun and Mile 12(hope I’m correct). Every last Saturday or first Saturday, hubby should babysit while you enter Balogun or any big market in the city (dunno your location) NOT BIG SHOPPING MALL OOO 😁. Sunday after church you enter mile 12(or any foodstuffs market).

I really hope you will understand and do the right thing.

  23. I didn't see rice on your list. I suggest you buy bulk. Instead of spending 2k every month on crayfish buy the quantity that will serve you for at least 3months or more. Do same for fish, tissue. You will find out you spend less. Each month choose the item/s to buy bulk. This month maybe toothpaste, next month tissue. Go to where those people that sell buy from. Buy in carton or half carton. Remember to check expiration dates.

  24. If you want to build a house of course you will build it if you are determined. If all those Iya Alamala are building houses
through their local restaurant what stop you from building?. You just need to imbibe the saving culture. Cut down your expenses on food. All those 90k diapers, stock fish, indomie is not necessary.Biko if you eat you will poo. I am not saying to shouldn't eat but don't eat in excess. Then check your house rent payment if it's not expensive. You don't need to rent a duplex or 3bedroom flat cuz you don't have a grown up child. Na house rent, excessive eating, Aso-ebi dey finish money. Start planning to build a house now that you don't have much school fees to pay. If kids start coming in building house will be difficult .

Madam,I worry for your future and that of Ur husband because you are eating it up and despite that, you are not even eating balanced diet, poundo yam and yam only plus noodles,no beans, lol,no gari,no rice or wat sef. You are not a prudent woman, a lot of couples with kids run on monthly income of less than 70k and yes they are fine minimally,no excesses, they simply live within their means, and mind u these couples pay rent, school fees etc. from Ur list,Ur husband has just 140k left, how does he fuel his car,pay rent and pay for his child's fees? with that 350k he is supposed to be having savings of notin less than 150k after all Ur expenses abeg, you have just a 2 year old o and u are using 20k to take him to school,35k to feed him,9k diapers etc. haba,u sef maintenance 40k,and you didn't seem it fit to save at least half of that every month. Money has wings,it fly's fast away, what's the assurance that your hubby will keep collecting that kind of money in the nearest future, you are supposed to join resources togeda and plan your future now and stop being wasteful, yes u are wasteful. A good woman manages her home and ensures there are no wastages. Why won't Ur husband complain when u are living from hand to mouth despite his income yet you are asking for hangouts,it's better you buckle up and cut down on all Ur expenses for your future,I am married and I make sure our soup per time doesn't exceed 1500 highest and it's has fish and meat included plus ponmo, correct meals are made from our income and we plan for our future and save too and our income combined is less than one-third of urs,yes plus gen, rent, diapers, baby food etc.

    If you want to save...

    DSTV, switch to GOTV.

Babyfood, hes already 2yrs, cut it.

Poundo yam & Yam???? Na you like carbohydrate pass?

Fuel for house, get i pass my neighbour gen, it saves fuel wella.

Tissue, buy the complete big bag, its more economical & can last for 5months & more, how many nyash de that house? How them big reach?.... pls you need to manage, your husband is trying.

  31. Dear Poster, it is just you, your husband and son, except you entertain guests daily. Not everything you buy this month will finish at the end of the month. Some should roll over. From there, all you need to do is to top up. Savings will come from there. What happens when you have other kids? Take it easy and avoid wastage.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Your list seems reasonable enough, but your son is 2. Why is he still eating baby food of 35k I don't get. You should have introduced him to some soft adult food by now to substitute and save cost there.
Also pls potty train him, you have the time since you do business. Do diapers for just his sleep time so he doesn't wet the bed.
Madam if you want your hubby to save the truth is 350k to run a house-hold isn't much. Something has to give, and the only thing im seeing is that your up-keep money. You can collect 50k from your hubby monthly and put it in a saving account, because no job in Nigeria is secure. God forbid he looses his job, you will atleast not starve. That savings will come in handy till he finds another job.
Forget upkeep for now, and spend your business money on yourself prudently. Your hubby is trying with the little he has. I know many working women that don't collect upkeep. They are happy with hubby paying the bills, rents and fees. They take care of themselves. Don't kill this young man, he is trying pls.

  33. The first thing that caught my eyes is baby food 35,000 like a two year old eat 35 thousand worth of food in a month.

Madam I think the problem is that there is money. If there is no money you will definitely know how to plan your expenses. Because the money is there, it's making you to put down both necessary and not so necessary things on your list and attaching a huge price to it

Make a scale of preference and include only the most necessary things and also see how you can cut down the prices or even if you leave the Prices on your list I believe those things don't get finished in a month so you can make a list for a period longer than a month

This is like a coincidence to me because just this week I was having a challenge with making a list and planning my expenses but the difference is that I'm broke and had to eliminate all not so necessary things on the list even though I needed them but yours is that you have so much that you don't know where to allocate some.

When you buy fuel for 5k a week, wc will include your running around and school runs, the whole 4weeks gives you 20k. The only problem I see is either someone who is gaining and saving from her husband or someone who doesn't shop smart. Then of course the baby food and poundo yam, else the diaper and wipes of 9k can be in order if her son isn't potty trained yet. Shop smart poster, so you can save for the rainy day cos it will come.

  35. Do not spend what you earn but spend what you have left after saving. (I heard this quote somewhere)
Determine the percentage you are going to save, then after deducting your savings, spend the rest.
Madam trust me you will know your capacity for managing a small amount of money for a month until that small amount of money is what you have to spend. Therefore restrict yourself to spending just a portion and you will see yourself doing it.
And by the way 35k is too much for baby food for a two year old o. Do something about it.

Know your husband have bills to pay too, it's right you cut down
35k baby food, na foreign food?
By now he should be eating what you eat then the golden morn should be a cover up
If you have a freezer cook in bulk and keep in the fridge, I buy goat meat to cover the whole month
If your husband earns 350k and about 200k is being used for food it's just too much
    Enough said

    ReplyDelete

  37. According to the personal finance classes we attended at work, you are not budgeting properly, because you need to assign a percentage of your income to different aspects of your expenses.
You need to treat you savings/Investment especially, like a bill you have to pay monthly, and you are spending too much on just feeding as a family.

You need to re-organize your list by organizing your expenses into categories, you can see an EXAMPLE of what I mean below:

-Monthly contribution to your Rent -15%
-Monthly contribution into your Emergency stash(since you now have a child to care for) -5%
    -Monthly contribution to investments/savings -25%
    -Feeding/Groceries-15%
-Monthly utility bill(Light, Waste, security bills, Fuel for Generator)- 5%
    -Family/Tide/Charity -10%
    -Miscellaneous -5%
-Transportation cost(Fuel for Car, etc)- 10%
    -Entertainment -10%
    etc.

Assign a percentage of your household income to the different categories you create and stick to it, you can augment with your money where need be.
It's recommended that you save up to 25% of your total income monthly, it can be broken to 5% for your emergency fund and 20% toward Savings/Investments. Do not leave the money idle either, else you will be tempted to go and touch it.

You people are taking a huge risk living paycheck to paycheck o, so it's good that you are thinking about this now.

    I wish you luck.

Which one is baby food 35k? Diaper 9k? Please let the boy eat what the family eats. Asides tea he can eat swallow, spaghetti, rice, beans etc. You can give him pap for breakfast and tea with bread once a day. The rest of his meals should be family food.
9k for diapers for a 2 year old is much. That about 140 diapers a month. Start potty training immediately. He is old enough.
My son is 2 years and 5month and doesn't wear diapers to sleep anymore, even yo school. Buy plenty small pants for him to be wearing at home. Let daddy teach him how to pee in the WC and flush. It's fun for them.
Plan to cook stew and and soup once a month. Buy two paints of tomatoes, shombo and pepper. Buy one paint of onions. Eat stew with potatoes, yam etc.
You can save 10k from that 30k.
Things are hard and baby number 2 might soon come. Yam 5k ke? And poundo 12k.Madam! Haba. You people should reduce abeg. The eggs should be left for your son. 2 crates eggs a month?.Not saying you should not eat well but you can't save if you continue spending like this. You can do dstv family instead of compact pls.

Thats why till date i have never ever been to a market on my own in Nigeria. MY point is those that know the way should put the poster through and poster if you are based in an expensive location in Nigeria find time to go to the local food market or maybe contact one of the shoppers we have on blog (eg Lagos shopper she might help you save a few naira here and there ) and for savings read what reasonable doubt typed up there or search for articles on how to save always ensure you put something away at the end of the month

  47. Poster please enlighten me on the baby food aspect for a 2 year old. Is it the regular milk and cereals which is not supposed to be the staple food for that age even?
Haven't you introduced solid food to your son? Marshed buttered potatoes with fish/minced meat, soft rice, yam, even swallow. These wouldn't cost you as much and are more appropriate for that age.
Also, does your son use diapers both day and night? Has he started talking? If he has, you can start potty training. Because 9k is a lot to be spending on diapers monthly. There are some very nice diaper products that are not high end. Like Roody and Penelope they both retail for as low as 2500 for 50pcs and they equally have wetness indicators.

Fuel too can come down to 16k.instead run generator to just 12 midnight. If where you stay is too hot buy rechargeable fan.you can use it when you put off the gen. Also the 40k upkeep monthly when you also have a business and also get tranaport money separately is not fair to your hubby when you know his salary is not that big. What do you use your money for.you can cut it to 20 or 30k. The 1k toothpaste monthly I don't understand it too. Omo 4500 what are you washing if I may ask.
To be honest with you 350k is small money for a man and you expect him to start building from it. He pays rent from there too and does other expenses. You have to adjust
I earn 200k monthly, my husband earns decently too and he pays for almost everything in the house but you see that your list up there I can't come up with that. 63. How many yams do you buy for 5k? Then you still buy poundo yam of 12k? You know you can actually blend the yam to make swallow.

Diapers for 9k? Your 2 year old should be using less diapers now or even none. You should get the pack of 36 which is N1800 or at most 94 which is N3600. He can never exhaust it in a month...when he's not a new born. So why are you spending 9k on diapers?

Soups/stew/ extra meat..you can still cut that one down.

Reduce the number of hours you run your gen.

Is one tube of toothpaste not enough for one month? Don't tell me your paste cost 1k. Go cheaper then.

Learn to manage please. You can't be spending over half his salary on housekeeping. That's ridiculous.

Or u just put it out here hoping ul get support from other women and then u can send the link to your husband, cus frankly I can't wrap my head around this list. 1k for toothpaste, okay I'm guessing u use Colgate, which isn't even bad in my opinion anyway. For your son, start potty training him, even if he has started school i know some school help in this area. This will help reduce the cost of diaper. Also start winning him to reduce cost of baby food.

  69. I earn over 1m monthly and my wife earns over 300k monthly but we don't spend anywhere close to what you guys spend. We don't get to pay for DSTV every month, sometimes we forget it and watch Netflix or other things. Just condition your mind that hubby is earning 150k and you have to use 80k for all you stated above. Then push the rest into a building savings account. You can start the building project in 6months, and once you start- you won't stop. YOU CAN DO IT, CHALLENGE YOURSELF. every month reward yourself by taking hubby and baby out, it doesn't have to be expensive!

The secret is buying in bulk, i have learnt how to go to mile 12 and stock up on yams, potatoes, onions, tomatoes and oyingbo sock fish, dry fish, spices and red oil. Balogun tin tomatoes, maggi etc. When you buy all these in bulk, it last for like 3 months.

  78. Dear Poster and good wife,

I love this chronicles...a lot of wives can learn from this. My mother taught me how to cut down yet maintain quality. wish i can introduce her to you. But from what i read here, there is a lot of cutting down to do in terms of feeding for your baby, you and hubby and other groceries like detergent. I do not see utilities, but i would assume your husband pays those which is why i think he doesn't have much by month end.

That being said. you and hubby should squeeze and throw 100k some where in an account you dont have an atm for monthly after all bills, gbese, groceries, feeding and enjoyment money which includes his upkeep for you is spent. squeeze it squeeze it. its there! i can see it. I wont dictate how you run your home but God gave you wisdom which is what i am happy you did by seeking advise here. well done dear.

  79. Darling, your monthly income should dictate your monthly expenditure. It's a case of cut your coat according to your cloth and not your size. You could be a size 16 but have only 1 yard of fabric. You have to improvise. The truth is, if you can be economical, you can even still save some money at the end of the month.

I can't tell you what to cut down on because tastes vary in different households but honey, from your list I can see you are organized and smart. Go back to the drawing board and do some tweaking here and there. Obviously, some items would spill over into the next month so your list should be flexible. Baby, do you know you can even surprise your hubby with a night out on you, with the extra cash you save? A nice dinner once in a while will really excite your man because men are used to footing the bills and providing for the home. They usually get really excited when the wives give them a surprising treat.

Another reason why you must learn to cut back is, your angel is 2 years old, before you know it another could pop in very soon. For all we know, you could already be pregnant. Lol! If you can't run your home now, it will be catastrophic if there's a new addition.

Lastly, please don't discuss this with any friend or family member. You are more or less anonymous here, so your home is still protected. There are friends who are balling hard and may make you feel like your hubby isn't doing enough and that is the beginning of conflict in the home. There are others who are receiving way less but will want to front like your monthly allowance is what they spend on manicures and pedicures. There are others that will be green with envy and will give you advice that will sabotage your home. Darling, this list must not be shared with another, keep it like a diary. Please be sure you appreciate your hubby, he provides and should be commended, you have a good man. Let him know you appreciate him and be kind to each other.

    e-hugs and kisses.

  80. Hmmmm I didn't see baby's school fees, I didn't see house rent even though it's not monthly. Please baby should receive toilet training to reduce use of diapers. Baby should be eating what you and hubby eat and you can top it up with beaverag purchased from whole sale shop to reduce cost. Please readjust to save. 60 percent of your upkeep can be saved every year to commence the building project. Piece of advice never discuss your family finance with a third party. It is strictly between you and your husband. I commend your husband but please madam plan and save

  84. Juju works in all ways, sometimes it is set to make sure your finances are crap. No matter how much money you make you can't save a dime and it has to all be spent. Juju may be at play here. Get down to business and pray on your finances, pray for the spirit of wisdom and good spending. Look at the national minimum wage and know that there are families much larger than yours subsisting on that meager amount and surviving. So imagine what you could accomplish with the amount that is coming in. Go meatless one day a week, there is no rule that says you must eat meat and fish daily, even one meatless day helps to cut down meat cost. Learn other dishes that are cheaper to prepare. Try brands that are not brand name items which are often more expensive. The only thing I refuse to compromise on is good quality toilet paper, you may have your one thing that you must have that is fine, but be open to experimenting with different brands. Buy in bulk or buy larger sizes of things you use every month, get the larger bottle of oil instead of the small one that you will have to buy a few times a month and end up costing more overall, do the same for rice, flour and sugar. You can even buy and freeze things like bread, juices.. etc. Bulk buying saves money in the long run.

Unlike most other commenters I don't believe your child should be completely off their baby food, children that age still need to have their own food to some degree, not every thing you eat is fitting for a two yr old. We still buy baby instant oatmeal mix for morning cereals, toddler geared snacks, fruit pouches and stuff. Sometimes they don't eat what we eat for dinner because they don't want it so we have to give them a pouch. I saw another person telling you to wash your child with water at home and only use wipes for outings, get your wipes. I am not going to aggravate myself to wash a child after every toilet visit just to save on wipes, the convenience of wipes will save your sanity and add to your quality of life. Take whatever advice make sense and use it to your benefit, drop the ones that are not practical, even mine.

I take out 60k for ajo which goes into my personal saving which I do not touch except I really love something I know my husband cannot get. I have 2toddler and a baby so I buy pampers, caprisun, famous Amos, and also buy foodstuff in bulk it’s stress full do shop but that is the only way I can manage and not use my own savings. He has been able to save a lot to build. We eat out sometimes and we do vacations too. 94. Let me rewrite that list:

    Yam- 4tubers @N700 - 2,800
    Eggs- N1000/crate 30pcs of eggs.
Nooddles- not needed, substitute with spaghetti and macaroni. N250/1 buy 3. You can't finish it in a month, use it as substitute for beans, or make jollof with crayfish and egg(optional).
Tissue- Extra big ones 2 - 1000.(can last for 6months). Wash ass after poo and use tissue after pee.
    Plantain- 8 sticks N400
Dried fish-N2,000. To be used only for important soup.
    Stock fish-1,000
Toothpaste- 300(can last for a month plus)
    Omo sunlight 1kg, N1,100(can last for 4months)
Carton of soap Canoe/Bimbo-N3k-4k can last for a year.
Homemade soap for doing dishes-materials N2000, can last for a year. Just keep enough bottles and space for storing, dilute with water when about to use.
Crayfish- N2,000(crayfish is scarce) when it's in season, buy dry under the sun blend a portion and keep the rest in an airtight container, for months.
Panla fish- another beautiful option and also nice when used in soups, porridge, and palm oil rice. N200 for 4pcs. Buy 8 when making your soups.
Poundo yam- use with alternatives semo, garri, wheat. Pondo can be used once a while. Semo, wheat-N500 each, garri -500, poundo -

Diaper/wipes- buy cheaper versions, even kirkland with scent costs N1,100. So there must be cheaper versions
Baby food- introduce him to solids, mashed sweet potato, mashed yam and oil, babies love it. Then you can never go wrong with ogi made buy you, add dawa dawa, and the likes)

    Dstv-7,000
Buy foods in season- cocoyam 3 sets N500 for white cocoyam, 2 sets 400 for red cocoyam, my sis you can't finish it in one week and potatoes are everywhere, sub with vegetables and salads, you get full faster. Ditch foods that aren't in season.
Fuel for the house- stick to switching on from 12 - 4pm, and from 8-9pm cos of the weather, have cold baths and apply white powder to cool your body.

Next time you want to buy frozen food, buy quater of whatever you buying, fish, chicken turkey, quater can sserve you twice, so let's say you buy chicken 3000, you'll use it for 2 Sunday's we have 4 Sunday's in a month, do the maths. Same for fish and turkey but at different prices.

Tomato season- when next you go to aboki, tell him you want everything N500, you'll have enough, tomatoes, rodo, sumbo, peper and onions to fill a big black bag, you can't finish that stew in 1 week, plus it'll be thick.
Soup- make achi based soup, very economical, you've gotten half of the things you need up, except vegetables, uziza, bitter leaf, oha, ukazi, avoid water leaf it's scarce. Max you'll spend on this is 500, achi will do the rest. Egusi and ogbono occasionally.

If your husband is like my dad that must eat swallow, no wahala I used 2k to make okro with uziza, ugbah and panla, he loved it, he didn't want the meat, my mum ended up finishing the meat in it. I used fresh Cameroon peper. 30min prep time.
Make Ekpan, concotion rice with spinach(i see aboki carry it a lot). Make iya basira stew, hand grated tomatoes, pepper and sliced onion, fry palm oil, cut 200 pomo in bits and panla 400, salt and maggi(optional). You welcome.

Spices- buy in bulk, can last for 4months- tyme-700, curry -700, rosemary- 700, Maggi- 750.

Invest in wigs- save money when it's xmas participate in sales, make didi every 2 weeks and enjoy pouring water on your head every day.

Makeup and cream - RSQ will do lecture.
Pad- there's one always big pad they sell N5k, substitute with cheaper ones like Virony, use virony when it's just starting and switch to always when changing on day 1. Use always when going out and at night day 2 and 3, 4, and virony in doors.

    Hands hurts.

There is no way 2 adults can eat all that you listed here within a month, so I am pretty sure you're reaping off your husband. Continue, one day he will seek outside counsel and he will stop giving you even that self allowance that you get. Between my husband and myself our combined income is 1 million naira. We save 700k and take 100k each for our personal expenses. Except when school fees or rent arises. Guess how much household expenses are? 100k flat...This sum is inclusive of utility bills like NEPA bill, lawma, dstv... And we have 2 kids aged 2 & 4... We eat like kings and queens and the 100k is always certainly more than sufficient. You need to stop lying to your man with that fake list if you want to sustain your family's future. But if you just happen to be wasteful, which I don't believe, go and learn the art of bulk buying and give that man a chance to build you a future. I am beyond shocked with this chronicle.
