Deputy Gov Of Kano State And Commissioner Have Been Arrested

Kano State deputy governor, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and the Commissioner for local government Mutari Sule Garo have been arrested for alleged electoral misconduct.







They were arrested in the early hours of Monday.

The deputy governor alongside his ADC, the local government Chairman Lamin Sani were apprehended by the police at the INEC collation centre at Nassarawa local council for allegedly destroying results sheets.

Police Public Relations Officer Abdullahi Haruna confirmed the arrest. He said the suspects have been detained at the police headquarters in Bompai, Kano.

      They now said kano result is inconclusive because they know pdp has been leading them here esp at Nassarawa local government.

    If what happened in Kano had happen in Rivers where a serving deputy governor and commissioner were arrested for thuggery, social media for no contain us with screams of 'Dictator'!!!!!

      Same thing a Pdp agent did in imo. He tore Inec result sheet and he’s walking freely. He wasn’t arrested . If it was an apc agent , twitter would be on fire .

    The Imo State Chief Returning Officer is an Hero. That man has been punching holes in every result from the ROs with questionable statistics. This is what we need for a free and fair election in this country. I do not care which party is involved, whoever is compromised, must be exposed and punished. He has been giving me joy since mid night😍😍😍

    The Collation officer of Ohaji Egbema Local government area in Imo state, Ezirim kelechi has been handcuffed and led out of the collation center for falsification of results
