Drama As Woman Forgets Her Baby At The Airport....

A young mother on a flight from Saudi Arabia to Malaysia reportedly had the shock of her life when she realised she had accidentally left her baby behind in the airport terminal.

The Saudi Arabian Airlines flight to Kuala Lumpur returned to its gate in King Abdulaziz airport, Jeddah after the panicked woman alerted cabin crew that she had forgotten to bring her child.

A video of the pilot requesting Air Traffic Control in Arabic and English for permission to return has gone viral on social media.
“May God be with us. Can we come back or what?” he is heard asking.
One of the surprised controllers can then be heard telling a colleague: “This flight is requesting to come back…a passenger forgot her baby in the waiting area, the poor thing.”

He then adds: “OK, head back to the gate. This is totally a new one for us!”
The Gulf News reported that the bizarre incident took place over the weekend, implying that the plane was already in the air. However, some reports have suggested that the flight had not yet taken off, and the sequence of events is unclear from the video.

The story ended happily, with the mother and baby reunited.
The circumstances that led to her forgetting the baby are not known.

  10. Obviously, she is not used to caring for her baby, her Nanny must HV been the one in charge of that, hence, this gross negligence. Shame on her

  17. Reminds me of when w had our fist baby. My husband was so thrilled about her that they went everywhere together. So one day, while trying to pacify her, he took her into his car to enjoy AC as there was no light. she calmed down, he then received a call and came back upstairs still on his phone but without our daughter. When I asked him for the child. He almost cried. He left her in the car, switched of the engine and had totally forgotten what took him downstairs.

    3. My husband took our son to the barber's shop, for his first haircut. He decided that he needed the large hair comb at home, then, went back home to get it. While, leaving our son of less than a year at the barber's shop.(i was at work then),My mum saw him come in alone, and asked, where our son was?...I guess it dawned on him, when she jumped up panicking, looking for slippers to wear,He ran back to the barber's shop. I was beyond livid when i found out from my mum, cos he didn't even mention it.

  18. She suppose chop 100strokes of cane. The one I witnessed in Brazil airport, we were heading to Morocco from Brazil, a woman on the queue to check in suddenly couldn’t find her toddler, and minutes before that I was still admiring their cute family, only God knows how she left their side without her parents noticing, the woman was seriously crying and her husband(Arab man) was yelling at her, after several hours of searching for the girl with the help of immigration officers they found the her, when they brought her she was just smiling. the airline delayed our flight for 6hours that was why they didn’t miss that flight.

    2. Dont mind him, He was also searching everywhere with the immigration officers, and he comes back every 10mins to shout at the woman. People even told him to take it easy on the woman, he didn’t even answer them.

  24. Change of routine can make one forget a baby, especially if you're used to a routine. This is a real risk, no need bashing the mother, I'm sure she feels bad enough.

  25. Easy to judge. Motherhood is very tasking and women are often left to do it alone as if they are single mothers. Travelling alone is stressful especially if she had other children in tow. Even if she normally has nannies it's still a lot of work co ordinating a family. No need to make her feel worse than she's already feeling

  26. Maybe the mother is under a lot of stress.. Sleep deprivation can make one's brain skip. Thank God it ended well.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'm very sure most people judging her always bring their A game to the table especially when you have nannies, cars etc at your beck and call to make it look very easy.

If a woman is stressed up with work, caring for the whole family then with a child added to these, without help, then it could happen.

We are fallible so please you people should get down your high horses, empathize and move on.

  28. Thank God she was reunited with her young one.
Anybody can actually forget especially if she had a lot on her mind or there was a change of routine.

Also, the baby might probably be in a baby stroller or car seat, so she might had gotten up, picked her handbag and left. Let's not forget that she is not African o she wasn't backing the baby.

It could happen to anybody, motherhood can make one go gaga a times.
