Many women have lost their God chosen husband due to this vanity thing. A school mate of mine was dating a young guy like her. He was a lawyer and you know their starting salary wasn't much but he was from an okay family earning maybe 80k.
DeleteNext thing this girl came to say hello to me in the office with a C-class. I asked abt her guy. She said that broke small boy. That she's now dating this older man,living with him in ikoyi. The guy was a divorcee plus had like 2 baby mamas comes from a popular family. I was happy for her. They even got engaged,this guy kept pushing the marriage forward. After wasting 5years with him and finding out the ex wife was making the divorce difficult. He called it quits. Even the benz she didn't leave with. I heard the guy leaves you penniless.
Today that broke lawyer is a partner in a law firm and doing extremely well.

DeleteI lost my virginity (contracted STD in the process) because i wanted him to buy a blackberry bold2 (which he never bought) that phone was the rave of the moment back then. 11yrs later, i look back and feel really embarrassed at myself for being so vain and cheap...
