Gbenga Daniel Set To Join APC After He Quit PDP And Partisan Politics...

Gbenga Daniel, former Governor of Ogun State and ex Director-General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation, has said he is considering a request by his supporters, to lead them to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Daniel stated this on Sunday, 24 hours after he announced his retirement from partisan politics.

He told journalists after a meeting with his supporters from across Ogun State, that his supporters had made it clear to him that he could not quit politics right now.

“You know that this process is about leading people and what we have done today is to call all of our people across the length and breath of the state to subject our decision to a kind of plebiscite and, of course, you have seen what they have said.

“Basically, they said, well, they agree that I could resign from PDP. They said I must lead them to APC and they said I cannot retire from politics.
That is the summary of what I heard and we have to now take a look at it,”

  2. That was why Wike made sure they didn't get the PDP party chairmanship slot. They blow hot and cold at the same time. They're white and at the same time, black. Very unstable. You can't put faith in them.

    2. Yori Yori, you see your life? It is an eternal fact that you and yours are bigots.
You never said all these when Atiku moved from PDP to APC and then back to PDP. Instead you were all shouting atikukated.

Always acting like a market woman here.

  10. Like that was not the plan at the onset?
Politicians always porting to where the grass is greener. Can't they stay in party and leave the other alone? At least, we'll have a vibrant opposition that way.

  11. Is it written anywhere that a politician must remain in a political party all his life? Can't people make their choice in peace? Internet has caused a lot of havoc where anyone can write nonsense. One even said he is a betrayal! Hello......haha haha

  14. Many Nigerian politicians aren't loyal. They are always looking for where to get appointments and fill their diminishing pocket. I thought Gbenga Daniels is politics entirely. It's painful dat the era of Awolowo, Azikwe is gone. Now we have political prostitute with no vibrant political ideology.
