INEC Gives Corps Member Who Lost Sight During Election Automatic Employment

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has given an ex Corps member Mr Daniel Oluwatobi, who served as an ad-hoc staff in Yobe state and lost his sight during the 2011 election, automatic employment.
He was celebrated by INEC via its Twitter handle on Thursday.

  1. Nice one but are they just doing that now? After 8years of incident. Any way them tried.

  2. This is a throwback pic naw the write up clearly stated that. #memories. He was given the employment in 2016.

  3. After 8 good years. Thank God they finally remembered him

  4. Since 2011? Abi i didn't read well.

  5. Good one Inec. Congrats to him

  6. Since 2011?
    Anyway, better late than never.

  7. I don't see anything good here o,an appointment is not equal to the gift of sight.

  8. Meaning that a Nigerian graduate must go blind now after your education for u to get a good job, I'm ashamed of Nigeria. Please as u are celebrating him start thinking of how to better d lives of other graduates or one day while waiting for a graduate to go blind for u they will rather make u blind nonsense

  9. This is sad.
They should in addition, give him a lump sum too as compensation. This is a permanent disability.
