  3. What pains me was the hypocrisy of Lagos state governor on CNN -that the school is on an illegal residential building . .. and that the whole building in the area will be demolished because they are "illegal"
Who gives licenses to the "illegal schools?"
How many people have been sacked/suspended for not doing the work they are paid to do?
How many more schools are in residential buildings?
Now are you going to make a lot of people homeless to save your face?
    Shame!

    1. Negligence on the part of regulatory agencies play a significant role in building collapse but he rather cause more damage by ruining more peoples homes and businesses??

Lagos State Planning Permit Agency, Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency, Lagos State Material Testing and Laboratory Agencies. They all should be held accountable.

    2. Nobody checks them. Civil servant just collects free money sometimes.
I am currently in Abakaliki. Was looking for hotel this morning to lodge and I was taken to this fine modern hotel in the heart of the city. I was already packing my bags to stay there when my colleague noticed cracks in thier fine well plastered walls. Even the paint and decoration couldn't cover the cracks.
      Kia I changed my mind.

  8. Jesus eh!!! I'm a Christian who had been non-challant with my prayer life for a while, but increasingly, I'm realizing that it is expedient to be connected to Heaven 24/7, I mean uninterrupted connection to God's throne. May the Lord preserve us.

    1. So you are saying that those people that lost their kids are not connected to God's throne? A times people's comments makes me laugh. My dear is not how much prayer to tender, God only give mercy to those he wants to.

    2. Chidinma you obviously know nothing about divine connection. It’s best you shut your trap!

  12. I couldn't sleep last night. Thoughts of those kids trapped alive in that building just gave me chills. I kept praying to Jesus to keep them alive until they are rescued. If I, an absolute stranger feels that way, all I can do is pray the parents of those kids don't lose their minds.
    Jesus take the wheel.
