Fuji Music Legend KWAM1 To Sponsor Education Of Boy Who Sketched Buhari With A Pen..

In what looks like a divine arrangement, Fuji Music Legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Mashal, A.K.A K1 De Ultimate has thrown his weight behind Oluwatobi Ilelolawa, the 12 year-old Primary Six pupil, who sketched President Muhammadu Buhari's portrait with pen (Biro) without alteration few days ago.

He decided to sponsor the boy after Brands and Marketing Editor of Thisday, Raheem Akingbolu published the story of the boy on his Facebook page.
K1, said he was touched by the story of the boy and offered to sponsor his post-primary education to the university level reached out through his publicist, Kunle Rasheed ....

K1 described the boy as a raw talent that must be guided, supported and not allowed to waste.
"I was touched when the story was brought to my notice and I see it as one of those things one can do to impact the society. Education is key to success and who knows the boy we are talking about may be a governor or President in the making. He may become another Ben Enwonwu, Bruce Onobrakepya, Wole Soyinka or an international Artist of repute in the future. If the society fails to give him the needed support now, posterity will not forgive us. This is the time to lift a hand and groom a talent for posterity."

Meanwhile, arrangements are being made to introduce the promising artist to his new benefactor and perfect ways through which his mentorship and sponsorship would be handled.

    1. Yes olori, GOD'S name be praised always.

Stella, do I detect a subtle / sarcastic line there @ "divine arrangement"?.
Truth is, the boy has biro drawings of different people including artists. I have seen several over time, Showcased on social media. If they refused to acknowledge and help, at least someone has done so.

  5. Most of these our celebrities usually don't keep to their words. He will do it for a short time and then give up half way. I remember when Justice Alfa Belgore of blessed memories gave scholarship a close relative, he announced it publicly that he will sponsor his education thru Sec( J.S.S to University). He paid for only 1 term and then he zeroed in...all calls placed to him was never returned. In as much as the act is a nice and laudable effort, people should learn to keep to their words.
