''8 months after my Little One, still can’t get rid of my discolouration underneath   my stretch marks. .......Stretch marks, wobbly tummy, weak bladder and the rest are evidence that I brought 3 Little people into the world. I call them my battle scars which I am so proud of because they remind me of my journey to motherhood.

Loving every moment of it and won’t give it up for the world. Love my post pregnancy body. Happy Mother’s Day to every mother out there and the ones hoping to become mothers. #thank you mothercare for giving me the courage to do this. #Love your post pregnancy bodies''

WOW:.......Thank you for doing this Vivian...Your scars are Beautiful!

    9. I don't think using oils works for everyone.my sister used oil and still had stretchmarks.I on the other hand didnt use anything and I don't have any stretchmarks at all.Maybe because my bump was very small until delivery.

    10. Ms Aboki, I am presently pregnant and EDD is infact this week. I do not have one stretch mark on my belly and what I can advice is that you should first of all never scratch when you get itchy on your belly, just run with your palms but sincerely I didn't get much itch except when I gently pat down my baby when I get kicks and strong movements.

On the other hand, I started very early in applying Genes Vitamin E cream and using Lactic Acid lotion (Amlactin precisely) on my belly every day from 4 months.

Genes Vitamin E cream after my morning shower, and Amlactin, then Vitamin E over it after my night showers.

My mum had 4 kids and has a very stretchmark filled stomach.

      Good luck.

  3. Your scares are beautiful so natural unlike some people after going through the knife, they will be shouting my 2months snap back. Snap back bend una left nipple lie lie people

    1. This is insensitive...Women that gives birth through the knife are all not doing it for cosmetic reasons. Some do it because their lives depend on it. So if they don't have natural scars like others, they should'nt be ridiculed or laughed at... All types of childbirth scares are beautiful..you snap back now or in several months or you never do, my sister you are beautiful and blessed!

    2. Your level of comprehension is so poor, DAMN! She is talking about the likes of celebrities who lied that they snapped back after 2 months after exercises, while we all know they go under the knife to make it happen. KAPISH?

    3. 14.09 I think you misunderstood Arsenal...she's not talking about those who have birth through CS na. Just calm down

  5. Each Mallam with their own kettle. Everything is now a contest. If you are okay with it, cool. Those that are not are free to do as they please. We must also know that the scars differ from person to person. Some scars aren't visible and some don't even have any scar to show which doesn't make them less of a mother.
We will wake up one day and will read that she decided to do something about it Afterall .
I'm a mom to the glory of GOD with no 'battle scars' but the emotional, physical and sometimes spiritual battle of raising children are daunting on their own.

Bringing everything to social media is becoming a headache.

    3. You should quit being sensitive especially if you can't identify with it. She did not say anything about not having a scar, she is telling women like her not to feel ashamed about their bodies, be confident, why is it bothering you? Allow people who identify with her feel good about themselves. It is all in your head and your self esteem. you could have just pass and go if this does not talk to you. It is like someone who was fat and decided to lose weight, talk about it and advice other fat people to lose weight and one fat person will come and say, not everyone can shed the fat,it is not a contest blablabla aunty, who forced you nah?Just just you said people are free to do as they please, allow her to also be free to do and post what pleases her.

  7. Some people like me are just fortunate, after 3 vaginal deliveries, no stretch marks or discolorations, snap back game 100percent, very flat tummy,I'm indifferent about it, but people don't let me drink water and drop cup "oh my, how did you do it" " wow" " what did you use" , I just look at them and say nothing..some just eye me as if I'm lying.
Funniest thing is the snap back is not immediate, I add weight and have black tummy immediately after delivery even for almost a year while breastfeeding, but after weaning I gradually loose weight and go back to being me. The only thing is I'm naturally a light eater, don't eat heavy, not an eba person. Prefer semo and poundo ,but I can eat junks for Africa, ice creams and Pepsi, chocolates too,na me be number one, some are just lucky.

    1. It's not about the weight of the food, it's the calories. And icecream plus chocolates are high caloric foods. You just happen to have high metabolism that God gifted you through your ancestors. You're good to go but please be sure that there's no diabetes among old people in your family.

      Delete
    2. Nope no diabetes and I check my sugar level from time to time. Infact one time they said it was low,.I was like whaaaat? Probably because I'm very active having to chase 3 boys under the age of seven around almost all day..so I guess that's my own way of burning the sugars
