    2. This is very surprising to me. Husbands from Katsina are considered ideal in the north. If they buy 1 share for themselves, they will buy 1 or 2 for their wives. I’ve lived in katsina for about 30 years now and I’m shocked by this. My friends and neighbors aren’t like this. But hey what do I know...

  3. Look like Katsina women justify domestic violence under any circumstance. That tells me that those women are being beaten left right and center with or without reasons. These stats would lead me to believe that more than 50% of married women across the nation has experienced some form of domestic violence.

  11. 54% in Katsina believes in such because the woman is arguing with her husband. Smh. That's why some of them relate with their husbands like he's a god. No sweet cordial relationship.

  12. Now I understand why the country is being run the way it is! So it's like a marriage relationship.
The country is the wife of the president who happy happens to be a Katsina man...

    1. Ehen..nau!!!
Any land that dishonors woman is always left behind to remain in darkness & deep seated resentment that block advancement & progress no matter that wealth of that nation, community, land or people.

One of the root causes of Nigeria's decline & backwardness today is the unproductive & helpless women full everywhere in soceity. Many has been turned to beggars, stigmatized, excluded or simply living in the fringes & margin of society without any recognition nor reward for their existence!!!

The curses & pain & tears of the Nigerian people will have no end in sight for a very..very long time as long as their woman r living on edge and always on defensive mode, become afraid, badly damaged.

  13. well the quran allows for husbands to beat their wives and the northern states are primarily muslim states, so it's understandable why some would not necessarily have a problem with it.

  14. Biased peeps...one thing will forever remain clear, that women have done the most domestic violence against thier house help, step children, loved ones, etc...but nobody wants to talk about it, because the narrative is always against the man.
