Mrs Dee's Corner -Fleeing From Your Village People...

Have you noticed that some families hardly visit their village because of the fear of the evil village people can do?.

Some have long cut off from them and settled in other areas, thereby making their growing children believe the new base is their village.

I still remember the man I served in his school during NYSC, he was a pastor from Ijebu-Ode but he hardly visited his home. Even when he visited because of a burial, no member of his family ate any food prepared there. They would all fast till they returned to their base.

I know of a widow who after her husband's burial ran away from his family and never looked back. Today her sons are grown and her daughters are married but they do not know their village because their mum warned them not to get close or there would be serious spiritual repercussions.

During her daughters' traditional marriages, she organised it in her brother's house instead of the village and only sent the bride price to them. Her husband's family do not know what the children look like neither do the children know any of their father's people.

The fear of Village people is the beginning of Wisdom.....

  1. If the "village people" operate with the powers of darkness, where is the
    power of God?
People run away from Satan because they
do not live holy lives. They live
    in hypocrisy.

Even Jesus Christ was taken into hiding when an angel warned about to be tempered with by herod, couldn't the power of God had killed herod then? Abraham nko? God told him to move from his people to a land he will show him and the God blessed him there, couldn't God had blessed him there? How about Joseph? His own village people (siblings )sold him into slavery. Abeg be wise like a serpent and be gentle like a dove. Thanks

    5. UC baby, this story is very real, he is my mom only brother.. We were all afraid when we saw him.. He later said he just wanted to let us know, we can't run away from village people because they already know where we are and where we live, they can harm us without we coming down to the village, we started visiting him till he died.. The story is very real, he told me things only I knew about..That man was just something else when he was alive..

This mindset is what makes our values and traditions go on extinct. People tend to forget that this village people's battle is mostly spiritual and so even if you go to kafachan they can still get to you.

If this people you talked off are really delivered from village peoples power why have they not surpassed most of the well known names we hear of who are mostly resident in their hometowns or have their lives become trouble free?.We wrestle not against flesh and blood nne and Wisdom to be guided is the principal thing

  12. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome even with all his anointing visited his village when his dad died. That was when he erected a building in the village. They buried their dad and since then OYO. Wisdom is profitable to direct.

Satan has power but God's Power is greater. If you have not seen the work of village people. You won't appreciate God's protection.

  17. I seriously don't agreed with this post...its just a selfish thought from most of us. An uncle died lf recent, i live in lagos just like him and i never met thr wife talk more his kids but what amazed me more was that his own mother dont even know his kids, this is someone that was married for 16years its not fair on the poor old woman ..is it a crime to live in the village? Most women agree with this idea because they dont want family interference..to me family is everything. We keep proclaiming the power in the blood of Jesus yet we live in fear..sweet mouthed and half baked christians please let us embrace christ genuinely and above all have a pure heart towards anyone and everyone and i can tell you with a clean heart and good thoughts towards everyone no one can ever hurt you.
