Deletethose lecturers no fit enter heaven , mine was supposed to be my guardian, my dad went to drop me in school and did the handing over for God's sake the man was married with kids and they were living with him o. he started inviting me to clubs and giving me alcohol @ first i thought he was been free aspa JJC wey i b for school then. until i went to his house, didn't know his wife and kids have traveled and he started making advances @ me... that was d last day i stepped foot into that house till i graduate even when i went for my certificate i ignored the yeye man

DeleteI was only 16 and sent to fce Katsina. Mr. Abraza as they called him vowed to disvirgin me. He made the school hell for me. I had to leave after three weeks of hide and seek with him cos I couldn't attend any lecture without him showing up in the class to call me out. Hope he is still alive. Some lecturers are wicked sha.

ReplyDeleteI swear I know the man he is talking about. Biology department in LAUTECH is full of sadists. There is Yekeen, Lateef in the main dept to terrorize people and the Alhaji in the lab I’m sure is the one he is talking about.

ReplyDeleteThat was how one lecturer in Fed Poly Ilaro Civil Engr dept screwed up my Brother for years because he wanted to date my Bro's girlfriend. He spent 4years in OND just because of this module and because it was compulsory and not an elective there was no way my Bro could have circumvented the process.

ReplyDeleteLet me tell you the story of a guy sometime at Auchi Poly. This guy was a very good student and had As in most of his courses. There came a time that a very wicked lecturer in Statistics Department decided that this guy has to pay him 6k for a course he scored an A or he will get the C grade. The guy refused, the lecturer did not deny that this guy scored an A, but as far as the lecturer is concerned, anybody who wants an A must pay 6k. His classmates knew this guy scored an A, they told him to just pay him after all he is not paying the lecturer to score an A but to make sure that his actual score, an A is what is recorded for him. He eventually paid.
ReplyDeleteThe guy graduated and got a job with Federal Bureau of Statistics in Abuja. Then there came a time that an advert was placed for a statistician at this government establishment. The lecturer applied, the Lecturer is very good in Statistics even his students knows that. It was during interview that this guy saw the lecturer, he made his enquiries and found out he had applied for a job there as a Senior Staff. This guy told his Uncle who is a senior ranking officer at this establishment what had transpired between him and this lecturer.
The lecturer did well, he qualified for the job but he was never called. Someone else replaced him.

ReplyDeleteHmmmm,its not so easy to forgive especially if you have once been a victim.I had a similar experience in secondary ,I didn't fail though but I went through trauma that would have made me to fail but all glory to God.Each time I remember these days ,I just summed it up as its all because I will be glorious in life.

ReplyDeleteThis man is a well known man at Akoka,,he held on my certificate for 4years all cuz i never allowed him to have a taste of my girl friend..no carry overs no nothing,he just didnt sign my clearance.
I was to use that result for a Direct Entry at UNN(NSUKKA) but he wasted my years,had to go sit for jamb again before i got the admission to UNN.
My finished my NCE year 2008 Aug 9...I was about finishing my project when information got to me that Dr Ibigbami has finally traveled out of this world. Came down to FCE akoka without signing my clearance,paid at exams amd record and i was issied my certifivate with good grades...yeye pple

DeleteThere was one lady that worked directly with the VC of Umudike ( I am not going to go Pretty Mike on her cos she sure knows herself. This lady felt because she was the rolling with the VC that she was untouchable.
ReplyDeleteOne of the student needed admission but you know how difficult it is to get into all these federal Univ these days. This lady was begged to help the guy to consider him as he scored very high but madam high horse refused. The guy swore that he will go back and read again and he will excel, not just to pass sef and he will do so well he will even be the SUG president. His wishes came true. As God would have it, Madam O has already stepped on so many people’s tries that everyone wanted her out. They got their wishes, took her down...down...down with shame. She no longer holds any significant position that she can torment people below her.
I see no wrongdoing here, unless there's something else...
DeleteYou guys just felt entitled cos he had a high score but fell short of the cut off mark isn't it? Abeg never expect that people must help you. Take it all to Almighty God, while expecting the help. If it doesn't work, then move on and thank God nonetheless.
You don't know her challenges. Do you know if she had just a slot or so from the VC and decided to help a relative or collect money for it.

ReplyDeleteSadly, its the Naija way. How a group of people got so decadent, evil and wicked in both their thinking and actions, is still unbelievable. Pray, as a woman you never come across a good for nothing, Naija man, who inspite of your hardwork, qualifications and tenacity, wants to hump you before a job offer. When he doesn't succeed, he gets others like him (big boys club) to form an almost impenetrable fence/ring against you, just so they kill you and your dreams off. May God punish Satan and all his accomplices in this life and beyond.

ReplyDeleteI jejely went to report him to his senior lecturers who liked me cos I was smart. He changed it sharply. No time.

DeleteMine was afraid of failing me for same reason.
He terrorized me during the exams, isolated me like I had an infectious disease, made snide remarks and all, still I rose.
He jejely respected himself finally and gave me my actual grades.

Mrs Veronica Ofoegbu, told me to my face that I will never graduate as a nurse unless she left the school by retirement, I stayed extra 18months after my mates has graduated she personally told the external examiners to fail me in practicals they obeyed her cos she was the school principal, I came back to do 6months carry over she refuse & gave me another one yr demotion for nothing, Mrs Ofoegbu your children will always suffer more than the way you made me suffer before they get anything that belongs to them, witch woman, heard she was sacked @ Madonna university as their HOD after her retirement from anambra school of nursing, hope you won't show your witch character in sch of nursing borrowme.
