Two Priests Dismissed From Ministry In Abia

The Arochukwu/Ohafia Diocese of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) in Abia State has dismissed two priests for indulging in homos#xuality.

A letter entitled: “Notice of dismissal from ministry”, dated April 29, 2019, and signed by Bishop of the Diocese, The Rt. Rev. Johnson Onuoha, circulated to all archbishops and bishops of the church said an investigation by the diocese, after it got wind of the allegation, confirmed that the two men were neck-deep in the act.

The memorandum which was also copied to the Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria and Bishop of Abuja, The Most Rev. Nicholas Okoh, warned any persons dealing with the expelled clerics to be mindful as such could dent the image of the church.

The letter read in part: “We wish to inform you that the following clergy have been dismissed from the diocese of Arochukwu/Ohafia. They are Rev. Chukwuemeka Duru and Rev. Solomon Chukwuzubelu Okonkwo.

“The report got to us that they were indulged in the act of homos#xuality. We investigated and found them guilty of such accusation. We were left with no option than to withdraw their letters of order (licences and certificates of ordination) and dismissed them from the ministry.

“Therefore, anyone dealing with these persons should tread with care as such can drag the image of the church to the mud.”

When Sunday Sun called the Cathedral of All Saints Ugwuavo, Arochukwu a secretariat staff who wished not to be mentioned confirmed the incident.

“Yes. We heard such thing, investigated and confirmed it. So, we showed them the way out. It’s not actually supposed to come from me, but the bishop. What you heard is true; there’s something like that,” he said.

    1. One heavy homosexuality scandal is currently rocking the Aguata diocese of the Anglican church. The homosexual priests has outnumbered the straight ones. They try to recruit you and if you disagree, the frustrate you to resign or remain stagnant for years or send you to a very remote village and prevent you from rotation. Please, you can investigate this, a certain priest has resigned on the pulpit during Sunday service, he Removed his robe and priestly accessories and left it at the alter. One has also done the same thing in Ekwulobia. A certain medical doctor cum priest has been fighting them, they couldn't bully him the way they did others because he was very rich and influential before he joined the priesthood. The Bishop of Agusta, is tied down because over the years these homosexual priests has hastened the promotion of their kind to the head so they currently surround the bishop and frustrate all his efforts.
Several letters, reports and evidence are being damages and destroyed. The priests that dared to speak out are being silenced.
Following this story, it is also possible that these two priests might be the straight ones and are being publicly disgraced for refusing homosexuality. It is possible that they are the only innocent priests in that region. The Catholic Church is already dominated by these people long time. They are trying to dominate the Anglican church and their numbers has long exceeded the straight ones.

    2. Anon 09:01 these things have been going on long ago but just coming out to light now. People are beginning to speak out. So many Rev. Sisters were even raped. I watched one telling her story how her Bishop abused her sexually and some others as well.

I have said before and still saying again, anointing doesn't take away character from an individual. A pervert will always be a pervert even if he is being ordained a priest.

    3. These are the priests people rush to for counselling. A lot of people have been infected with the spirit of gayhizm abi not the spelling.

    4. Hmnnn, last year or so, I heard about a priest that derobed himself on the pulpit and walked away. I can confirm the Anglican church is in Isuofia, under the Aguata. Infact, they start harassing the catechists and if you don't agree, you will remain a catechist and watch your juniors of few years become priests.

    5. People pls be careful with your kids. All these parents that like sending their kids for counselling to Father this or that, talk to them yourself and be your child's mentor and role model. A priest cannot help you raise your child.
Many kids are molested and initiated into homosexuality by some evil priest.
They can be gay all they like I don't care, just stay away from children.

  7. These are just two among the hundred and thousand of them in the churches. They are everywhere, Catholic, Pentecostal and Anglicans.
Churches should check themselves, a lot of pastors and priests committing atrocities using God as a cover up.

      Not everyone Aborts
