  7. Stop chasing fame at all; just do your work and go home, abeg. If fame comes, let it be a by-product of your dedication to your job. Yes, there are men (and women) who come to you cos you're famous and they're leeches.

But you're talking like this cos you've not seen desperate (wo)men who will carry your name and picture to juju when you're not yet famous, and they will (try to) marry you because the jujuman tells them that your future/star is bright. I met my husband when I wasn't famous. Fortunately for me, I recognised him as my husband and married him. But there was another man hanging around at the same time, that seemed even more serious than my husband. My hubby is the most chilled out human being I've ever met. It was later the second man confessed that he carried my name and picture to juju. This is after he carried my name to his pastor, the pastor told him to leave me alone cos I'm for another man. Apparently, he had told the pastor to pray to turn my heart to love him by force, cos "the heart of the king is in God's hand and He turns it where He will." The pastor told him they don't practise or support witchcraft in their church. That if he feels the need to pray such, it means I'm not for him. I wasn't even dating him, oh. The reason I know this is cos he called me and confessed after he left the pastor and visited juju in his village with his mother. Telling me nonsense about he found out before that my future is bright and that's why he wants to marry me (I don't think he knows he confessed; I usually pray some kinds of prayers for hidden things in my life to be exposed and God has ALWAYS answered). Not everyone that sees you when you're not yet famous, has clean mind towards you.

The only thing is to pray to God to i) send you your own wo/man, ii) open your eyes to recognise them no matter the packaging they come or don't come in, iii) give you patience to wait till He brings them to you. While it's true that fame can confuse you about people's intentions towards you, if everyone that comes when you're already famous is a fraud, Banky and Adesua for no marry.

  8. What does she mean by time might not be on your side? Shading your older colleagues or what? How do you know they aren't building relationships on the side? That it hasn't clicked doesn't mean they aren't trying.

Because you married yesterday, you are now a counselor. While single, you were granting interviews saying you are not under pressure bla bla bla.
Stop shamming others. They will marry at the right time. The society constantly reminds older ladies of their status, don't make it worse.
