Kano State Government had on Thursday queried the Sanusi over alleged misappropriation of N3.4bn by the Kano Emirate Council.
Sanusi in a letter signed by Abba Yusuf, acting secretary of Kano Emirate Council on Saturday said that the said the amount was just over N1.8 billion which he inherited from the coffers of the Emirate Council.
The Media Aide to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, who announced this confirmed that the letter containing the reply by Sanusi was received within the stipulated time frame of 48 hours as stated in the query.
Meanwhile Gov Ganduje and the Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II have reconciled their differences ..
The Reconciliation committee was initiated by Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State.....
