Pastor Tony Rapu Shares New Photos Of Lady Whom He Rescued From Drug Addiction And Prostitution..

Pastor Tony Rapu Shared a Father’s day message and added photos of former serial substance abuser named Lizzy...He dedicated the post to her......

He says...........

''Father's Day 2019 is dedicated to my spiritual daughter Lizzy who turned 26 in February.

Even though God is ‘Father’, many do not have a positive association with that word because they were raised in dysfunctional homes. For them, ‘father’ triggers painful memories.

So this Father’s Day, let’s be sensitive to those from difficult and painful backgrounds. Many still yearn for positive memories such as running to greet their dad when he returns home from work. This never happened. Some yearn for the father-daughter dance at their wedding. This may never happen with their natural fathers.

Today, let's reach out in compassion to the physical and spiritual needs of the fatherless, the neglected, abused and abandoned. Let’s cultivate a sensitivity and compassion for children around us who grapple with instability at home. Let’s cherish especially those women who never experienced a father’s affection, by treating them with genuine love and dignity.

Look out for the Father's Day series of 4 videos that capture Lizzy's progress.

#FathersDay #Addiction #DrugAbuse#TransformALife #MyLagosDiaries#FreedomFoundation#GodBlessNigeria#HouseOfRefugeForWomen''

Rescue and get her to know God and then free her oh........

People like become too dependent on the people who rescue them and that's not too good.I saw a documentary on drug addicts and realised that they will never be the same for the rest of their lives and need a lifetime of emotional and social support.

  4. Sorry pastor, I beg to disagree with your caption:
JESUS RESCUED HER FROM ADDICTION not you (that's if Jesus is whom you serve)

And your wife is the one that should be bringing up this girl and setting her up
    in an occupation NOT YOU.
Let's not hear/read stories about a ballooned tummy and being heaped on the devil.

The rescued should be alert so as not to be a prey of the rescuer.

    4. Really awful. For your information, there’s a foundation that handles that. She’s not the only one. You can go and support them so that God will answer your prayers. It’s called the Genesis House. Dirty mind.

    6. Titus 2:4 These older women must train the younger women
to love their husbands and their children,

Last week, we read about the pastor of mountain and fire who impregnated
a 16 year old "spiritual daughter"... and these same people above were raining insults
on him. Jesus, the Lord of the church
made provisions/gave instructions in his word to avoid that.
Know the scriptures and understand the background information before
      you attack any comment.

    7. Anon. 17:09, you just pluck out a scripture to defend rubbish. It is your type that misuse psalm 105:15 to defend charlatans. How does the pic above and the testimony in view tally with the slanderous crap you are using that verse in Titus to defend? Your understanding of scripture is myopic and I am very pained that you are misusing God's word to slander. May God have mercy on us all.

  6. So after this lady’s story broke I went on you tube to search for this man’s works.
See this Pastor Rapu, for this good deed he is doing, he can have ALL my money.
You need to watch his videos, dating back to over 10years ago. I was scared to my bones. Its horror on the streets.
They not only go to the most dangerous places in Nigeria(which I never knew existed) They have comfortable homes where they are rehabilitated and re introduced into the world.

The mayhem abuse of drugs is causing in the society is crazy! Kids are getting hooked everyday. Uni boys and girls are abusing Codeine and Tramadol. It is bad!!!
I used to think drug abuse was a white man problem(too much television), nah, It has meatndered into Africa and the worst part is that we dont have adequate rehabilitation programs for people ravaged by drugs.

Ine of the few doing it right.

    3. I use to go to TPH years ago. Pastor Tony has indeed been doing this outreach programme for long. He is hardly even in Sunday service but the service they do for street people at TBS or stadium can't remember. And they feed them every Sunday. He is really trying. You can really see where ppls donations are going. When they transform ppl and they come to testify you will be shocked. They also have homes all these ppl stay. It must all cost a fortune to run. And Pastor Tony is such a simple humble man.

    5. Iphie, it's not what it seems. I don't know what to call it, but it's not exactly an outreach program.
As a matter of fact, the save Nigeria program is very expressive to get in.
So, permit me to say he's just using the opportunity to advertise his business venture...

    7. Mama Mia, please how much do you think Lizzy and all the others his ministry has taken off the streets paid?
I will be reading. Because some of you have bomb in your heads.
Did you know that he goes out and puts his life at great risk ministering to the most dangerous people you can think of? Do you know he can be attacked and killed? What about the people whose business of selling drugs will suffer becaus of his good works? Do you know some of them must have been scheming to take him out but for God’s protection? Have you ever seen Videos of the kind of places these people go to preach? Do you know how many lives has been touched? how many people have been motivated to do things like this?
Please stop belittling his very great effort at bettering the world. Just stop it make I no find you come.

    12. Mama Mia, be careful of what you wrote up there. I worked with TPH many years ago on the God bless Nigeria. As far back as 13 years ago. He has a heart for the people on the streets. Which business are you talking about?I know of his own personal resources that he's put in it and have been privy to a situation where he turned down a money making opportunity that wasn't in line with his visions for the project. I have put in my time, energy and money into the project and I'm glad to see how it has turned out. So, if you know nothing about the pain and shame that many families have been through because their loved ones were lost in drugs, I beg you again, be careful of your utterances.

    13. Lilysimple, Haba, and anonymouses, God will not punish me for anything neither am I sad or bitter. I'm so sorry about not being a bandwagon person like majority of you.
I am not one to speak things I no nothing about. I have personally made enquires from the foundation for someone who is close to me that has drug issues. I was told that it's a 3months program, and for the 3months, the person would be there, it's 500k (five hundred thousand Naira) monthly making 1.5m for the 3months. Also, there's a one off payment of 60k, totaling 1.560m for the 3months.
Whoever cares enough to find out, the place is on Admiralty way, Lekki.

I hope I've been able to school you all...

    14. @anon 16:47, God bless you for standing up for Tony Rapu in the face of a faceless slander.
I am not a member of TPH but have been a close observer of Tony Rapu back from the days of Freedom Hall parish. I have contributed my own resources to his projects and have sat under his ministry long enough to know that while he is human, his vision and burden are God birthed and he is a man of integrity. You will not hear one scandal about him or his wife. No under hand dealings and he lives within his means. My only problem is that he tries to bite too much at a time. There is too much to do but too little resources and too short a time. Tony rocked life well back in his days as a medical student and even an intern, hence he has always carried a burden and passion for those affected by societal ills, be it prostitution, addiction and mental health issues. The lie above will not stop him. God is on his side. His garment will not be stained

Pls does going to a church need special membership. I used to attend TPH before I got married years ago bcos it was near where i lived then, this was atleast 8yrs ago........Pls tell me where I mentioned I participated in his ministry. I went to the church like any normal church member on Sundays. Did I go their outreach programme with them. Pls TPH is open to anyone to go to, so I'm wondering if you need a medal to attend their service. That i cant remember whether it was TBS or stadium they hold the outreach means what. Did I attend their services there.
Next time use your ID, I don't bite.

    16. Mama Mia. I had the privilege of being a part of what TPH called DTI. Part of the program is an outreach to these dangerous places. But we were taken somewhere mild. You have no idea of what goes down there. I saw ash*wos in their shack and I almost vomited. There is no amount of money that will make me want to go there again. TPH is a very organized church. I cannot explain. That fateful day, we were able to take 15 of them with us back to church. (God Bless Nigeria). It is a lot of work and you have no idea of what you are talking about. Jesus. If you do, you won’t relate anything happening to money at all

    17. Stella, please post my reply to my accusers and 'attacking midfielders' that I sent earlier.
      Thanks Mami.

    18. @mama Mia, your point is still invalid. You should have started with this instead of your slanderous accusation.
There is nothing underhand in what you have described neither does it point to a money making scheme. He through the church runs a foundation that has rehabilitation as a core part of its evangelical ministry. They go to places most of us will dare not go, minister to people and bring them in for rehabilitation. The foundation hires professionals, most of who are not even necssarily church members to provide rehab to these addicts. The treatment is holistic, medical and obviously spiritual. It will be extremely overreaching for the church to accept anyone who works through their doors for the program for free. If they do so, what happens to the lowest of the society who are the target of the foundation who can't afford a dime? Will you be happier if they don't charge you and your relative a dime and tomorrow it cloes down? Yet you will go else where and pay unsubsidized fees (I am sure the fees you quoted above is subsidized) while the addicts In the dregs of Lagos island and apapa have no option.
I am sure that Tony Rapu does not make a dime from this project. If anything, his is impoverished financially while his soul is nourished by it. Yet you make him seem like a scam artist and fraudster. Kindly choose your words better next time. I am not a member of TPH but as a person who has followed his ministry for over 2 decades, I am pained by your slander. My only association with the church these days is irregular attendance of Shekere which I always seem to miss these days.
I have supported his ministry with ease because he is one man I can sow a seed in his ministry and go to bed knowing that he has been faithful in little.
If I have any issue with him it is that his dreams far outweigh his resources. His congregation are not as giving as I would have expected. That is also proof that he is not a manipulator.
For this slander of yours, i am going to see a seed to this foundation at the end of this month (something I have not done in a while). May God continue to vindicate Tony Rapu and may his garment never be stained. May God help us all.

  14. Thank God for Lizzy''s transformation. Her change for the better and in christ is permanent in Jesus name, amen.

Yes Stella, some rehabilitations are difficult and challenging. It takes the grace of God on these people and the patience of Jesus on their care givers and mentors. Some need that lifetime psychological and emotional support. Some may fall in the cracks along the way, some are even forgotten, some are 'unsalvageable' if at all this word exists. However, those who can try or are trying should continue the good work. Do not be deterred by failures.

God bless Pastor, Dr. Tony Rapu, his team, the entire TPH congregants, the well wishers who contribute in cash, kind or otherwise for this ministry on the streets to succeed.

  16. @Iphie, that Mama Mia is talking crap. I am not a TPH member but I know a lot about what Pastor Rapu himself does. The man has no deceitful bone in him. I actually feel the church extends itself too much. I dare mama Mia to freshen his or her accusations to be considered worthy.
The man is not rich, does not live above his means and loves God endlessly. That comment is a search campaign and is disgusting. I also do not trust pastors but as a child of God, Tony Rapu has integrity and is one of those who has not bowed before Baal. He and his wife practice what they preach. I may have misgivings about some of their church members but not the couple.

  25. I can't believe the nasty slanderous thoughts some of you sit down and imagine!
Pastor Tony has been doing this for years! the records are there for all to see, this is the evidence of donations, tithes and offerings been visibly seen yet some of you will try and twist such a noble selfless act. What business is he advertising again apart from preaching the gospel and reaching out to the dejected and downtrodden? Because you heard 1.5million your eyes are shooting daggers forgetting that what you collect as annual salary is less than someone else monthly tithe abi?
To even suggest that he's inappropriately associating with the girls he took away from drugs is sheer wickedness. If you don't know how his foundation works, ask questions or forever hold your bile inside your stomach!
God bless Pastor Tony and every pastor out there who does the work of God with honor, selflessly and without any sense of pride or seeking acknowledgement.
