Peace Image Maker Chris Iwarah Killed By 'Reckless Bus Driver...

A bad thing has just happened.

Christian Ejiroghene Iwarah, a lawyer and spokesman for the Allen Onyema-led Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading airline has been sent to the other side by a reckless driver....

The Delta State University educated young man who once wrote for The Sun Newspapers lost his life on Friday, June 7, 2019.

According to Yes International! Magazine findings, on his way home, at the close of work and somewhere around Mangoro, Lagos, his car developed a fault and he alighted to fix it.
In the course of doing that, a reckless driver, obviously battling a failed brake, rammed into him, injuring him badly.

Medical help took too long in coming and the man died!

RIP to him.

    1. The kind of nonsense some of you talk. Just last week, there was a report in the Daily Mail about a woman who died cos the ambulance took an hour to arrive. In the abroad you're calling, there are systemic and institutional failures. In case you didn't know, there are mortuaries and graveyards abroad cos people die abroad too. A guy who used to work for ThisDay (or is he still there) just lost his 50yo wife to cancer. She died abroad. Alex Ekwueme died in a hospital abroad. More than 50 young people have been victims of fatal stabbings this year in London alone. There was nothing anyone could do about the attacks on London Bridge and in Manchester (at Ariana's concert) last year. Damilola Taylor (look him up) was killed at the tender age of 9, a mere few weeks after his parents relocated him to the abroad. His murderers were given a disgraceful sentence (they're out now) and his heartbroken mother died a couple of years ago. A few years ago, a soldier was beheaded in broad daylight in Woolwich. It's only abroad that a man who committed rape will claim he's a woman and they transfer him to a women's prison till he rapes again; shior! In Nigeria, there are ways we treat such stupidity.

If you like, don't pray to be guided to your own Rehoboth. Expect your help to come from the abroad where the government doesn't even know what it's doing; this is the reason many people keep going up and down like vagabonds, running like the guilty that nothing is pursuing. Entering wilderness that God didn't send them. No, this isn't about patriotism. People can go where they like cos they heard that others travelled; the same way people marry, take loan, buy car and slay on the gram cos they're looking at people that don't know them.

    2. Ambulances don’t come quickly please in all cases. They only do in a life threatening situation.

I agree in his case they’d have come quickly.

    1. Even if you live to 100 yrs old life is still very short. Don't they say a thousand years is like a day in the sight of God. All of us are alive for mere seconds or a fraction of a second in the sight of God.

  9. Kai, And I was to set up a meet with this guy. How fickle life is sha. B-Elect, Christian... in one day!

Let's be grateful to God for each day we awaken.

Na so pesin dey jump okada, Uber, waka - all three I did yesterday - with little thought to the grace one enjoys due to His protection.

God, as we all move about our daily hustle, I pray that we find your time and not be too busy to give thanks and praise you, to be holy and adhere to your commandments so that our final destination will be with you. We will not die in an untimely fashion. Amen.

May the departed's soul rest in your bosom.
