    2. I wonder why so many pastors are randy. An aunty I was staying with, the husband attempted raping me twice in the house. And this man is a senior pastor in church. Till date they don't know the reason I left their house..
Once I rejected the man he started poisioning his wife against me. Thank God i was in my 20s and mature and working. If I had nowhere to go,I will have been forced to go ahead with his plan.

No one is fighting against the church, they are fighting the man involved. Like genny Nnaji said "this is the alleged rapist and his name is biodun" no one wants to shut down coza, they want to stop the man, who has been accused by a lot of people. When did you even come to Abuja that you are forming the church is moving? 🤣🤣

And in your sick mind it is alright for a grown married man,a pastor at that to sleep with a 17yr old minor.
Consent or not abroad he will be immediately charged with statutory rape. Even if it happened 20yrs ago and the lady is now a grandma.

    6. See eh, there is something about rape that doesn’t sound reasonable to people that don’t understand the concept of rape. I was almost raped in my 20s by a doctor I knew very well, up to his family sef. Thank God he didn’t succeed but I ended up with a sprained wrist whilst struggling. I couldn’t even shout cos somehow it can be a bit embarrassing at the same time. I still talk to the guy but in this case I can never allow us both be in the same room cos anything could happen. I don’t have the maximum strength to fight any man. So sometimes it just doesn’t make sense but it is what it is.

when did the incident happen, why is she talking now, was her parents aware then? What steps did they take. I BET They both had sex, enjoyed it,she was probably happy to be disvirgined by an handsome man like Gucci pastor, Now that money is involved blackmailing starts. My sister pls be mute. 17. He should step down as the leader of the church until he is tried in court. Having him preach at the pulpit is a slap on the face of our religion and his church. If he is found innocent he will be reinstated. If not.........

We can't continue to allow things like this go unpunished. And for those doubting Thomases, please ask yourselves 'what if this happened to my daughter? What would i do? Will i ask irrelevant questions like why didn't she scream and blah blah.... or will i seek justice?'

It doesn't matter that she came forward years later. It doesn't matter that he wedded her (abused people often develop Stockholm syndrome). All that matters is preventing such lewd acts from happening in our society and creating an environment that allows the victims speak up and find healing. I pray we get there some day.

He has denied it and said he was being blackmailed. Y cant you choose to believe that as well?? I know RAPE IS BAD. I know victims, but again if you must keep this to urself be smart enough to have evidence , ( doent v to b a video, could be a simple counseling session) and witnesses ( even if na musa at the gate) . A mere interview will not get you justice, the court will, and with CONCRETE EVIDENCE.

    1. Please read and know why there is a protest. The protesters are asking this pastor to step down till investigations are carried out.
If he is guilty he won’t be reinstated, if not he can go back to being a pastor and sue for damages. Stepping down while an investigation is carried out is the right thing to do. Church shouldn’t be about the pastor so he should step down to take attention away from him, it is about God.

I'm sure somebody will learn from this, they will be more careful especially the popular ones. We won't wait till justice is influenced cos this is Nigeria.

  30. I honestly can’t go with one side of a story. I am a woman, I know rape hurts and leaves permanent injuries to one’s memories, but I also have seen women lie against men that they were raped because that’s the fastest accusation people will always fight and support a woman on, it’s unfortunate, I pray God reveals the truth but I can’t help but think busalo and hubby Timmy are up to something, these days people do anything to trend. I can do better and cry more in such interview but what do I know, May God reveal the truth, that’s how Otolo later confessed trying to blackmail apostle Suleiman. To the true rape victims, may God heal and give you all closure...

Hopefully, he can now keep his community deek in his pants. I don't know y I feel sorry for his wife. As for peeps using d phrase "consented rape" , just bcos u have a crush on someone doesn't give that person the right to rape you!

  36. Goodness this's just the beginning.

    The most Complex

    ReplyDelete
  37. We should try not to bash other people's opinions because they do not align with ours. Rape is a horrible thing to experience; so is being lied against.
My younger brother was accused of rape by our house help when she ran away many years ago. My brother was in medical school with me and we do not travel at all until the end of the school year and nobody asked questions to confirm the authenticity of her story.

My brother a born again christian,a virgin, never asked a girl out in his life was traumatized by the experience. While everyone in the family said "we know you didn't do it" he was still sad and very bitter. He pleaded that my family support him while he clears his name through the court because that is the only thing we could do for him. Not the #we trust you #we know she lied #you are a child of God.

He prayed, sought for justice and God vindicated him because in the end the girl confessed that she was asked to lie by her boss so they can move her to another household before the end of her employment term.

My brother got justice. He married at 33yrs as a virgin; imagine if he didn't get justice for an accusation when he was 18yrs, his life would have been a mess. He wouldn't have been able to practice medicine not to talk of becoming a consultant in his field of practice. (People would have tagged him a rapist for life meanwhile he never touched a ladies under pant before, how many people would he have been able to tell he was still a virgin and would believe him?)

I believe the court needs to take it over from this point.
My hope is that the court will not fail both parties and justice will prevail in the end.

  38. If Nigeria was a civilized Country, investigations would have began. Ese’s story was well detailed. My only regret is the others not speaking up after Ese did or stand with her then. Others kept mute when Ese came out. Look, if the Me Too movement will succeed in Nigeria, other girls who were victims need to speak up and stop protecting these guys. God knows who is innocent or guilty. At the end of the day, when we all lay down to rest our bodies, we all expect to fall asleep and wake up feeling rested. No one can rest another’s body. Wives can defend their randy spouses but one day, Peace will depart from such. There will be no rest for them.
