ONE CHANCE TWO TIMES

Hello Lady Stellz ๐Ÿ˜˜ and bvs๐Ÿ˜œ.

I'm writing in to share my own story of one chance survival (twice o)

First time:

I was sent to the market and from there, I'll be going to church. I was dressed in a skirt, blouse and turban.

I got to the junction, waiting for a taxi. This clean car comes and I enter (taxi must not be in tuke tuke form before it's a taxi na) with the driver, a man in the front seat and a MAMA woman sitting alone behind. After a short drive(less than a minute), the man in front comes down and gives the driver his fare. Driver drives a pole forward and stops, pretending he's just seeing the money, he calls out to the man who's still by the sidewalk telling him Oga, this one no be naira o. (Na so tactics start o๐Ÿค”)

Oga starts rambling about how he came with a ship to Nigeria, he's looking for a woman he supplied goods to (he read out an address) and that he didn't have any naira note on him. He now begged the driver to accept another note of "God knows whatever currency" if the first one wasn't enough. I and the woman behind were quietly watching but Mama was part of the game, chai ๐Ÿ™„.

The driver then told the man that there's no place like that there but he'll only help him to change his currency to avoid being duped/robbed. He (the driver) starts hitting one big book on the dash board, swearing "I'm a Christian and I can't cheat you or hurt you, as a foreigner I'll do my best to protect you. I'm a Christian and I'll help you Sir". The "foreign passenger" who said he's from Guinea(or so) enters back into the taxi and he tells the driver, for real? If you help me I'll give you one laptop and a hundred dollars. The woman then asked him, what did your ship bring? He says it's used laptops, human hair, used electronics, etc.

He now faced Mama, are you a Christian too? If you help me I'll give you one laptop and hundred dollars. She nodded and said, I'll help you.
Hmm...it's now my turn๐Ÿ˜„.

Oga asked me the same question and made the same promise... yinmu๐Ÿ˜š

(not too young to know๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜).

Driver said he'll take him to Presidential to change the foreign notes and he started begging me to join them in the "rescue mission". I told him a big fat NO!

Mama then started her own, let's just help him out na, I reaffirmed my NO!

Finally, we get to my destination. The driver wanted to pass but my tone and the bustling environment caused him to stop and I escaped their madness. Who knows what the end would have been?

When I narrated to an Aunt, she warned me to never respond to such conversations. Little did I know the big one ๐Ÿ‘น was waiting for me two weeks later๐Ÿ˜“๐Ÿ˜ค.

second time

I JAM DEMON AND I DIDN'T LIKE IT.

So this second time, it was a rainy day.

I left home with an umbrella, a small purse and my barely one week old phone(I held it bcos it couldn't fit into the purse).

I got into a taxi and closed the door. (I sat behind with a guy at the other end and a young lady in between us)

The young lady (should not be more than 32) starts complimenting my umbrella that it's fine, how did you get it? I told her it's a souvenir. She sights my phone, what model is that? I answer her and she does like she's typing down my reply. I started getting annoyed with the conversation, I wasn't enjoying the friendliness anymore. Thank God the vehicle was moving but my mental peace was cut short with her tap and gesture ๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜ค. See o, how come my bag is open? (Really? B****, really?! How's that my business? I WAS IRRITATED AT THIS POINT. Gadamnit!!). I retorted, how'll I know? Pls, enough!

(And the devil came out of disguise ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ข in irritation too ๐Ÿ˜ฑ)

Her face changed (for real, no kidding). You know how they widen eyes (demonically)? This was live!

She started nudging (using her elbow to hit my rib), na there she change am for me. Children of God, this wrestle was indeed not against flesh and blood๐Ÿ˜ญ. I looked over to the guy beside her whether he had a gun or something, nothing really, just a black plastic bag. Ok.

This my fellow young lady was still doing her work. My system started changing like there's something taking over me from my legs, slowly spreading upwards. At this point, I started meditating, declaring myself untouchable. I thought of making a call, wacky move. She was now sitting sideways, facing me and seriously murmuring incantations. (Flash thought: Why were the other three passengers + driver so out at the moment?)

The effect was fluctuating (just doing a step up and step down probably due to resistance). She was so serious with her eyes, lips and hands. Nna, I told myself that it's better I come down (trek or pay another fare) than to endure till I reach my destination which was in sight. Sharply I screamed, DRIVER, DROP ME! Instantly, he pulled over and I came down with Sisi still looking at me through the window (I seriously avoided looking at her eyes). I started walking to the junction still having her effect, I was just praying to reach my Aunt's shop and not embarrass myself on the road.

She no gree o. From the junction, I could see that she came out of the car and was looking towards me (maybe e don finally catch me๐Ÿค“) but I'm so grateful to God for helping me reach my Aunt's shop and I explained to her.

Guess what? ๐Ÿค”

She said position, position let me slap you. (That that's how they make the effect go away)

Gbosai! Gbosai!

Such sounds for recovery๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‚.
These encounters made me very paranoid.

COMMENT SECTION

My guy who is sweet, caring and charming is obviously lying to me about not seeing other ladies,he takes me almost everywhere (all functions), he's a church member and a worker (but not spirikoko), he's an event planner who always have ladies around him; due to the nature of his job.

I've gone to pray about him and was told he's good, but the only clause is he likes women. He's not the type that shows it but it all happen under ground. I don't know if I should go ahead as this might lead to marriage. My past relationships had been ending due to cheating, should I just keep this one and forge ahead....

I don't know!! Stella please post my comment, this is the third I'm writing and you ain't posting.

The answer dey your hand oooooooooooooh...........I dont know if cheating men change but if you already know and walk into it,then you should take what you see oh

TEEJAYS CORNER
NEVER TOO LATE...

Sometimes we get hit so hard in life that we almost give up on ourselves and the very dreams we hold dear in our heart. Today, I want to encourage myself and you reading this right now, that it's never too late for a story to turn around. "It won't always be like this forever" this I will always say to myself reassuringly when things take a wrong turn.

The force and pressure in meeting people's expectations in our life are often the reason for so many speedy actions and failures in life, thereby giving up hope when those expectations aren't met.

It's never too late to start that dream business, neither will it be late to go for a first degree even at age 40. No matter the timing in life, one can still accomplish their dreams in life if they so wish and are determine to see it come through.

Starting all over again is never too late and a step in the right direction for one who desire success. In a year from now you will wish you had started today. "A man is not old until regret takes the place of dream in his heart". When one gets to that point in life when all they could do or think is apportioning blames or regrets, then know that they would have reached the peak of failure in life.

How long have you been down, depressed and worn out? Just like I will say to myself, RISE UP with a strong resolve to succeed. Say to yourself 'NEVER AGAIN' and mean every bit of it. Last night, I blacklisted so many things and said to myself NEVER AGAIN. At this point, let every resolution you made aimed towards success.

Do not settle for less, for in years to come you will be glad and proud to thyself when you look back at the point where you had started and how good you have made it in life.

    1. My Experience:

my older daughter started at exactly 2years. I had to resign from my previous job after she was born so i could take proper care of her (being a first time mom). So she started school just as i was resuming a new job. She blended easily with the other kids as hubby & I had exposed her to home school (counting of numbers, reading of alphabets and reciting simple nursery rhymes), lots of educational videos, cartoons, Sunday School activities, etc.

And for my second daughter, i had to enroll her in a creche at 11 weeks old since i had to resume back at the office and the exposure helped her in associating better with other kids, so when it was time to start school proper, it wasn't difficult for her to blend with the school routine. She's 3 now & rounding up KG 2.

Bottom line: study your child & know what works BEST for him/her. I'm sure you'll make the right decision. Cheers!

    4. Congrats @14:58. Use the pregnacare and also take plenty fruits and vegetables, stay away from pineapples o.

14:02, if you are not working for anyone, let him start at age two but if you are working, register him in a creche and let him resume by September this year.
Mine started at age two and she is doing fine.

I'm not trying to say SARS is right in accosting people indefinitely but our young men should be cautious of the way they appear. Cyber crime is a no-no for me but e get people wey dey do am & you'll never tell in their appearance. These young men wey SARS dey harass, their outlook dey make them stand out like a sore thumb. Is this enough reason? If His not on drugs He can't last 1 minute? Oh!! Someone should please enlighten me. Thanks

  36. your first one chance story happened to me in 2012 Dec, Fat woman with a low cut at the back, chocolate in colour, the driver is fair, the so called passenger that dropped from the front seat is dark and slim with a receding hair line. This time around, he claimed to be from Senegal with a shipment of blackberry phones and human hair from France as he was speaking nonsense claiming its French. Paid his fare supposedly with $5. They operate between Rumudara and Tank. As of 2017 when my sister encountered them, the slim guy wasn't with them but the woman was the importer at this time. they drive a wagon, I Dont know what happens to their victims but its time they got arrested.
