    1. Emphasis on THE WIFE U LOVE. Not YOUR WIFE.
Married women stop killing your selves wen he takes another wife, the greatest men in this book that were married had more than one woman
The same book emphasized that men will b scare. 3 woman to a man. Enjoy yourselves. Happiness is BEA

    2. More from Wise King/writer Solomon:

Proverbs 23:29Who has anguish? Who has sorrow?

Who is always fighting? Who is always complaining?

Who has unnecessary bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes?

30It is the one who spends long hours in the taverns,

      trying out new drinks.

31Don’t gaze at the wine, seeing how red it is,

how it sparkles in the cup, how smoothly it goes down.

      32For in the end it bites like a poisonous snake;

      it stings like a viper.

      33You will see hallucinations,

and you will say crazy things.

34You will stagger like a sailor tossed at sea,

    1. Hope he also preaches this one too:

      Galatians 5:21
Envy, DRUNKENNESS, orgies, and things like these.
I warn you, as I warned you before, that THOSE WHO DO
SUCH WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

If he is not preaching the above, get out of that "church'

    4. Anon 13:42 Drunkeness is clearly as a result of abuse of wine. So drink but don’t get drunk and do stupid things like the orgies. Hence the love your wife part king solo said.

    5. @16:52

Alcohol is an addictive substance; isn't it?
So how are you going to control what will eventually control you?
How about this other scriptures from the same Solomon?

roverbs 31:6 6Let beer be for those who are perishing,

wine for those who are in anguish!

7Let them drink and forget their poverty

and remember their misery no more.

      So are you PERISHING?
Do you also know that "wine" as referred can mean un-fermented wine; grapevine
the kind that Jesus used to celebrate communion?
The kind that he turned water into at Cana in Galilee?
If you want to live in sin, do not use the scriptures to justify it.

  4. 4It is not for kings, Lemuel—

it is not for kings to drink wine,

not for rulers to crave beer,

5lest they drink and forget what has been decreed,

and deprive all the oppressed of their rights. Proverbs 31

  6. And will your pastor also show you this from the same Ecclesiastes:

Eccl. 11:9 You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, BUT KNOW THAT IN ALL THESE,
GOD WILL BRING YOU INTO JUDGMENT.

  7. Luke 21:34
“But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation
and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.

    1 Corinthians 6:12
“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful.
“All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be enslaved by anything.

  11. it seems the bible's got conflicting verses? Well, it isn't.
its all the english logic. one word could project lot of meanings but the context in which it's used define its pro tem meaning.

One gonna understand the expressive backdrop of every scripture passage before contextualizing it, so as not to end up being confoudingly bias and to avoid stirring a conventional war in this regard.

    1. The bible actually contradicts itself, and conflicting verses in different chapters... besides the well scripted lines left open to interpretation, its no wonder the church is subdivided to thousands of denominations under the umbrella of christianity.

  12. Think about anything: alcohol, sex, war, enemies, friends, etc. There are verses in the same Bible that support as well as frown at it. It depends on what you want to do at a time.

    1. Good quote
The "wine' is not fermented wine which is alcohol
It is pure grapevine -ask any Jew you know. That's
what Jesus turn water into in Cana.
Fermented wine/strong drink/beer is what was spelt out in the
scriptures about the consequences of drinking it:

Proverbs 23:29Who has anguish? Who has sorrow?

Who is always fighting? Who is always complaining?

Who has unnecessary bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes?
