According to Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Abike Dabiri Erewa  ''Receiving Prof Nwagbara, dismissed from a University in Ghana cos of a video which they found offensive. He says the video was doctored and put out by a Ghanaian journalist. He’s home now and would resume at Unilag after his Sabbatical at one of the Unis requesting for him''

  2. This man was not set up... Mtcheew.. This man even said, Nigeria should have been the first black nation to gain Independence, and not Ghana. What has this to do with anything? I pray he keeps this new job, and I wish him well...

    Have they investigated the allegation? Or they are accepting his account just because he’s Nigerian. How on earth would one think that Nigeria should have gotten it’s independence before Ghana? Isn’t Ghana doing better? At least they have regular electricity. The British should have held on to Nigeria just like it did with Hong Kong

    Probably nothing was doctored, he was secretly filmed. He made his points and the Nigerian government
    of course liked what he said. Nigerian media are too busy with adverts to dabble into image building.
