Fani Kayode And Ovation Publisher Dele Momodu'Disagree Over Their Definition Of President Buhari As A ''Father''

Ovation Magazine Publisher Dele Momodu and former minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode have clashed over their definition of who President Buhari is Father to,however one thing is certain with their disagreement...both refer to him as ''Father''....

Dele Momodu tweeted “Only one man can stop the imminent explosion and that is the father of the nation, President Muhammadu Buhari.”

Reacting Femi Fani-Kayode disagreed with Dele Momodu and tweeted “Buhari cannot stop the imminent explosion because he is the cause of it!
“Buhari is not the father of the nation: he is the father of the Fulani!”

  1. I tend to agree with Fani Kayode.
The herdsmen have committed and continue to carry out havoc along the Ore road and farmlands across the country. So called Father of our nation is unperturbed.

    1. You can say that again. Have you seen or heard about any Fulani herder being arrested not to talk of prosecution.

    2. @7:29, have you seen a father sit back and watch his children being killed day in day out?

    3. Blessed Princess, go back and read what @0729 wrote. She means he’s the father of the Fulani only.
      Got it?

  3. The guts with which our inlaw Femi Fani Kayode speaks about the state of the nation is so encouraging and commendable. He's a man with vast knowledge of history and great level of understanding of the nation. I love the way he doesn't sugarcoat words when addressing issues. Though sometimes he could sound insulting but the messages are well detailed and self explanatory.

Mr President have shown in recent times both in character, words and body language that he is sectional, ethnic biased and religious extremist. We need not argue that, for a good attestation of this can be seen when he boldly stated his 95% to 5% loop sided appointment and attention on the nation's geographical zones.

Both of them are right in a way. PMB is the supposed father it the nation. And is also Father of the Fulani's. Only he has chosen obviously the Fulani's above every other person.

    1. Say it again lady T. He choose the Fulani above the rest of us. I don’t blame him. I blame Tinubu who put us in this mess.

    2. Buhari is the President. No more no less. Stop elevating people beyond their mandates. He has a job to do nothing about father here. That's how you charlatans elevated pastors to daddy GO. If you have no parents in your lives, don't drag everyone down with you. Is Trump the father of US or Putin the father of Russia. Serious countries are not looking for stupid titles to give to their Presidents. Buhari is not the father of the nation. Fatherhood is not a 4 year temporary duty.

  5. FFK is a cry cry baby and Dele is a double-tongued fella. Fulani herdsmen VS farmer clash is a perennial issue. But somehow, I feel a small percentage of these wanton malevolence that's daily linked to Fulani herdsmen is the orchestration of some bad elements in the country.

Before the 2015 election, a certain oil biz man in Nigeria paid $2m to a company(Cambridge Analytica) in the uk to spread islamization propaganda against Buhari. Whoever that can pay for that stuff can pay any random m*daf**kers to kill. Fasoranti's daughter's death looks orchestrated to me. I feel becos she's the daughter of the Afenifere chairman, killing her would tilt the SW people into almost open rebellion against the fg. These are my thoughts anyway.

The Ruga stuff is also the stance of Atiku when he was asked how he planned to tackle the herdsmen palava. So FFK dey whistle and yimu at the same time bcos Atiku himself is a backer of Ruga. He dey tackle one Fulani man and support another

    1. So Buhari keeping quiet about the whole saga makes him what? A puppet? “A certain oil biz man in Nigeria” imagine the story you are giving. You aren’t making any sense at all. So of all the things Buhari could take from Atiku’s campaign promises, the only one that he saw as meaningful was Ruga? Lol. Until one day we wake up and find ourselves in a Sudanese situation we will know. I hope you don’t go about saying this rubbish in reality. Anyways, what’s my own? You’re the one who will be seen as .....

    2. Anon 16:00 you got me laughing. When I read his comments above, I would have responded but I gave him that benefit since he's entitled to his opinion less it becomes infringing on ones opinion. But good you did. One day, we will wake up not just Sudanese situation but Somalia.

    3. See, come what may, Nigeria situation can't be like Sudan and Somalia. I follow stories with verifiable sources. Google Cambridge Analytica on Nigeria election interference, you will see it. I only tried to connect dots from the payment for propaganda and the spate of killings in the country. I feel there's a connection.

Ruga as it is was first discussed at the 2014 Confab organized by GEJ. Atiku articulated same solution to herdsmen vs farmer clash and Buhari tried to implement it. Same way he wanted to implement the education reform that Wike and GEJ proposed and people shouted.

The vp has said that you can't hang your private business on the government and Ruga was not by force but for states who are willing to give lands for the scheme and some northern states showed interest, while states in the south rejected it. Do the duo of you anon 16:00 and Teejay have other solutions to the problem?

  11. Read somewhere in the news where their Herdsmen leader said the Fulani herdsmen don't go about harmed. We'll know that's a big fallacy.Right from my childhood,i v seen them go about with daggers, charms ,clubs/knives including bows and arrows, obviously to protect their flocks and themselves. These has over the years generated to some(bad eggs) being fully armed with AK47 and other life endangering ammunitions. In all these, nothing serious has been done by the so called father of the nation all because he is a Fulani man and his subordinates wouldn't want to do something that will hurt his feelings at the expense of the poor masses.

  13. Buhari doesn't even have what it takes to be the father of this nation. A father protects all his children and is not sectional, impartial and unbiased but Buhari is obviously clannish and nepotic. Right now this nation has no father only opportunistic looters and plunderers.
