Gov Sanwo Olu Visits Survivors Of Ijegun Pipeline Fire Incident

On Wednesday July 10,2019 Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo Olu was at the Trauma and Burns centre of the Gbagada General Hospital to visit the survivors of the Ijegun pipeline fire incident and assess their healing process.

The incident was an unfortunate one and the governor says ''we will do all we can to ensure they get the best treatment''.

  1. Why are they all wearing face mask like the victims are smelling. It will definitely make them feel so bad and less of a human. When Grenfell tower explosion happened, Theresa May visited them at the hospital and neither she nor her team wore anything of this sort. C'mon Sanwo Olu that's not fair on the patients. It's gonna come across to them like they are stinking.

    1. The face mask could be for protecting the victims from getting contaminated with germs on their open burns. Even the medics are putting on theirs too if you check. Not necessarily what you think dear.

    2. Well said but I doubt if that's why b/c we can see our governor shaking one of the victim's hand. I'm not a medical person but I wonder how nose mask will protect the victims from getting contaminated with germs yet they shook hands without gloves.

I also hope other visitors before and after Gov Sanwo-Olu were also given nose masks when they visit/ed.
