Protesters Storm Nepa Office With Charms And Coffin To Protest Bad Supply Of Electricity

On Wednesday August 14,2019,Something really surprising happened at the head quarters of Nepa office in Uyo, Akwaibom State.

Protesters stormed the office with cardboards protesting about the poor supply of Electricity but that wasn't even the problem because it's not a bad thing for people to voice out their thoughts which they are entitled to it.

The shocking part was that they came with masquerades, a coffin and a native doctor....lol

The native doctor broke the eggs on the coffin, performed incantations, poured drinks on the coffin and dropped plantain stumps on the coffin which they had dropped at the entrance of the office. After the whole incantations, they added that whoever would carry the coffin would die a miserable death along with his or her family after three days ..

The masquerades proceeded into the control room to beat up the engineers there. Just imagine being in your office one morning and experiencing this kind of thing, it's really sad.

Soldiers were called in on Thursday morning to pick up the coffin and burn it and there hasn't been light since the incident ...looks like it got worse and they are now withholding the flow of power supply. You can't beat them up and still expect them to work right?

  2. How things have degenerated so badly in this country. The other day, the elders from Kastina state said they only enjoy 24hrs power supply only when Mr President is around. Is there any sector doing just fine in this country?
