They have admission cycles and timelines for all their courses. And like a proper school, the fact that you have money doesn't mean automatic admission. All the time y'all were yabbing Alex for posting photos on Instagram that you people said were meaningless, she had applied. This CeeC girl did not just apply and enter overnight. Or is it because they didn't tell you? So that monitoring spirits and village people will change it for them. I knew this would happen when Alex announced hers; I knew y'all would d say Ceec was a copycat when she finally makes her move too and I'm not surprised at these comments.
The two ladies are doing extremely well for themselves, and whether they happen to coincidentally or not take the same steps doesn't matter. What matters is that they keep succeeding, and keep making decisions that are intended to better their lives.
With the comments I see here when either these ladies are posted, I'm still surprised you people call Ceec bitter when many of you are queens and kings of bitterness.

In any case, you don't have to hate either. These back and forth chatter laced with demeaning comments, lasting through the year, when you are done, how does it make you feel? Upbeat? I doubt. So, Why don't you all let love lead?
You may all think tossing vile remarks here and there about these ladies including Khloe is a harmless act, but God is checking every bit of it and it's piling it up for you. They are on the whole, attempting to exceed expectations and trying to excel, even if it doesn't sense to you at the moment, who knows? They might finally get it right. I had consistently stayed away from similar posts in the past, but I pondered to myself "its been a year, all emotions must have simmered down by now". Goodness! Was I wrong?
Success is no one's birthright, so it doesn't matter who you think copied who. They both left for film school, such a great feat! It is an achievement and they both ought to be supported in their lives pursuit. And if other lovely ladies couldn't imagine anything better than to pursue the same pattern of equivalent example, it's okay! For whatever length of time, they are genuinely interested.
None of these two ladies is ugly, by the way. "Ceec has yam legs"? How sure are we? I hear there is a cosmetic procedure where people pay to make their calves look more pronounced like ceec's. I think it was posted here once about being a standard of beauty.
"Alex is loud, too boisterous and acts distasteful". We tell people to be themselves all the time but when they do, it's never welcomed. How exhaustive this world would be if everyone behaved the same.

ReplyDeleteMy dear people, applying for a US student visa (and getting an I-94) isn't something you just do on a whim. You would have to have applied to the academy with a personal statement and possibly do an online interview to the school, get accepted and show proof of funds for your complete tuition (i.e. cash in the bank) before the school issues you an I-94 to support your visa application.
ReplyDeleteSometimes the school requires the applicant to make a sizeable non-refundable payment to prove your commitment before they issue you the I-94. You cant even book a visa appointment without the I-94 statement. And we know that it normally takes months to book a visa interview, worse still in this Trump era where even after the visa applications and interview, the US embassy can hold your passport for months. I took the trouble to explain this for the benefit of some of the commenters who may at some point consider education in the states.
Cee-C had always said in the house, after the house that she would go to NYFA to study film/content production. She said she would do that this month and even reiterated the same thing when she went to support Banky W at the premier of "Up North". In her words... "because he is a filmmaker and I would like to be one too". Cee-C's passport must have been at the US embassy during the Female World Cup Tournament - which explains why she didn't go to France. (I applied through ordinary drop box in February, my passport didn't come out till end of April; talk less of somebody that applied for student visa).
Alex must have also gone through the same rigors to get her student visa as well - she always said she preferred something in the arts. NYFA seems like a logical next step because it will accommodate a flexible schedule that will allow her further her education but continue to work as well. If she doing a short course or a full session, the premier of Merry Men 2 may be out when she is done for the year. Perfect timing for her to accept new roles and apply whatever skills she will pick up at school.
My dear people let us congratulate both of them, there is no need for the "who copied who" arguments. The more young women are empowered, the better for us all. There are many roads that lead to the same market. Its a worthy achievement by both of them and i pray that their endeavours at the NYFA and thereafter are productive and an inspiration to young women all over the country
