Saturday In House Gist -Silence Is Golden Unless You Have A Child..

It is Summer holiday and we are all stuck with the Children for about 7 full weeks.....Not funny huh?

Silence is golden when you are relaxing until you remember you have kids, look for them and find out they are up to no good!!!

I have had my fair share of silence is golden moments.....Is it when my boy was caught shaving beard that doesnt exist?or when he cut off half of his curly hair that made me scream nonstop?or when they help you pull down all the things you folded?or use oil as body cream?...I have had my fair share and still do but it is just that it is different now....

Some silence is golden moments is so hilarious that we want you to share with us if you have any....
We have had several  silence is golden posts on this blog but you see,the moments never cease,so the posts wont...
lol....

One of my contacts posted a pic, where the kids arranged their car toys in a single file from the living room to the toilet ,and were flushing them down the wc one by one ...

He was sitting and struggling in a cluster of soldier and and they were biting him. they were inside his clothe, diaper.. He's body was so full of stings and I carried him, held him so tight, cried so much and kept asking for his forgiveness. I love you ****boy.

    2. I pray no one leaves their child with you ever again. How can you allow a 16months old baby to be alone outside? Oh Jesus!
      16 f#cking months?
I pity mothers who leave their children with single girls. Mtsheeeew

  4. I was with my older sister for a few months, I saw hell.
My nephew would take his chair and place in front of the fridge, open it and start dropping the bottles on the ground, I suffered that period and even lost some weight.
Sometimes he would climb his chair to put on the gas 😨
He’d empty his milk can on his bed.
When he notices he’s under serious monitoring, he’ll lie down and start snoring like his dad does with one eye open.
My niece is worse, in fact I don’t have energy to type what she does πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

That was when she woke me up,pointed to the poo and wee all over the rug and she just climbed the bed and slept offπŸ˜•πŸ˜•well I started picking poo as if I was picking beans because it was those tiny strong ones😭😭😭😭even while cleaning her up she refuse to open her eyes😬😬full of mischief but she is doing twice the work she made me do thenπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    1. My own daughter..at 2, actually answered my rhetorical questions; was it the day l asked 'What kind of poo is this'(because she smears the wall with it ) and she answered'Brown!!' Or when l was so frustrated and l asked myself'Where did l get this child?' and she innocently answered'Mummy,in Lagos'
Grown now and still funny!(as a lawyer)

    2. Do people still use rugs in their homes?
Tiles and carpets are better especially for homes where there are children. Rugs capture and keeps dusts plus all kinds of insects. Causing catarrh all the time and insect bite spots on kids legs

      Delete
    3. Lol@ Methuselah.

@Anon 16:17.. Well, it depends on location. Unless there are bushes around, I don't see why the rugs should be insect-infested. Personally, I prefer rug in the house till my kids are of age (say 3) because:

      1) where your baby's crawling, it protects their knees.
      2) where your baby's still learning to walk, it helps reduce the impact on them should they fall.
3)it keeps the floor warm during cold seasons unlike tiles that's always cold.
      4) nothing like they "slipped and fell".
So you see? The most important thing is to keep it clean REGULARLY. I think it's safer for kids.

    4. Exactly choice,my rug is always swept clean and it helps her to walk faster as she uses her toes to hold on to the rug and at 8 months she is already running around the house. We changed to tiles now and we get more flu than when we were using rug because everywhere is always cold

  6. My son left the hot water in the bathroom sink running overnight 😩. I almost had a panic attack thinking about the bill I would receive that month. Well, he was deprived of his favorite treats for a long time.

    1. I tell you. Some lazy parents will leave their kids for single phone-pressing girls. Those ones will press phone or watch TV at the child's detriment. Since they can't talk, the parents will be spending money in the hospital treating all sorts

  10. hmmmm... where do I start from, Hmmmm, on this wonderful day i prepared rice and stew for Lunch,my hubby was asleep so I thought to shower again before eating, my very active 1yr and 9 months old daughter who usually follows me everywhere didnt follow me to the bathroom I was even happy thinking she was playing and didn't have my time, by the time I was done and I went into the kitchen my daughter had fetched 2big cups of water climbed on a stool and poured water in the stew on the gas cooker and was stiring it pretending that she was cooking.
I shouted like I'd been stabbed by a dagger, Hmmmm My husband had to wake up and come hold me tight. I felt like crying but no tears he was just saying it's part of parenting. we just picked out the meat and flung the remaining stew. we had suya and coke then slept. I always thank God for my daughter ooo. she's my drama queen

    1. Some of you parents are so careless
Why would you leave your kitchen door open when you have toddlers in the house? Even if you don't have kitchen, make a cupboard with locks and always lock it. Thank your stars that she did pour hot stew on her body or turn on the gas and put the house on fire

    2. Thank God she didn't empty the hot stew on herself. Chai! Hope you went for thanksgiving the next Sunday cause this is a big testimony?

  15. I have a sewing machine i practice with at home, anytime i'm sewing he will always come to me and say"i want to adjust,at times,he brings paper and little piece of clothes saying he want to adjust, will just look at him and shove him aside. This fateful day, bobo was no where to be found around the house,i quickly sensed hes up to something.Entering my room,i saw him on the stool,he has already cut the tape into pieces, and busy winding the wheel forcefully. He saw me and ran off.
