Justice Nicholas Oweibo of a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Tuesday ordered the final forfeiture of $40m worth of jewellery linked to former Minister of Petroleum Allison Diezani Madueke.
*I wonder how she will feel reading this...She must have ran so fast she forgot them behind in Nigeria or she forgot she had them at all......40millon?wow!!
Diezani with the level of poverty in Nigeria, you still stole so much without putting the average Nierian into consideration.
ReplyDeleteLook at your life now. Are you happy??
I can't just believe this woman, madam your wealth must change hands, amen!
DeleteSome people still believe she is being victimized. They want us to believe all the news about are looting are not real.
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't doubt that she genuinely owned the jewelry. Here in the South South jewelry is a big deal amongst women. In 2003 I had a colleague from Abonnema. Her salary was 25k but she bought coral beads of 500k. Every mth she made some payments. I was shocked because I was earning much more than her but will never spend 500k on jewelry even today. She told me that going by her culture any woman that is worth her salt would have real jewelry. Coming to Diezani, she worked with SPDC before becoming a Minister. She is from a Royal family in Bayelsa. She is not that young. So when you add the ones she will buy, gifts from people, you will see how possible it is for her to own jewelry worth 40m. It wasn't accumulated over night. But sadly we view everything from political or poverty view point.
ReplyDeleteAunty did you see the dollar sign at the end of the 49m?
DeleteU are such a big fool aswerigod!
DeleteI guess she didn't.
Deletedollars madam not naira ....even if she was md of shell cant justify 40m dollars
DeleteInvestigation revealed that she bought those jewelries 2 years after she became minister. From her account records, she didn't use her salary as minister to buy the jewelries.
DeleteSo as a public servant, she can't justify owning the jewelries by not spending a kobo from her account. This is law and facts we are talking here, not sentiments
Mennn! She almost cleaned this country o.
ReplyDeleteThanks to their boss Jona that even called all this mere stealing. I am sure she deliberately ran to UK just to escape judgment, since 2015 her hasn't began in UK hmmmm, there is more to it,they too have compromised.
DeleteHerh! Nigerians! Are the news about this woman’s loot real? Where is she??? How are you all so calm about this? When will she be jailed??!! When are you shaming her and her family? She is evil!!! If these loots are true.
ReplyDeleteSmh.. Will Nigeria ever recover all she stole? Cos I have been hearing about different recovery for long now. Still no end in sight. This woman has no conscience at all
