  2. Meanwhile in Nigeria, using things not made in Nigeria is an average mans mentality that you are rich, e.g shop in non Nigerian store, wear non Nigerian designers, use American used n Japan cars, born outside Nigeria even our leaders ruling Nigerians from Non-Nigerian country 😂 . The only song that should be played on tv is - There is fire on that mountain top by ASA cos Nigeria is doomed. Even me typing is typing from Non-Nigerian country. I don’t know how the future can be better cos truth be told, the future leaders are going to be worse than this present because they will sell Nigeria to a Non-Nigerian country. All other African countries are moving on, taking the world, unfortunately Nigeria will not be able to catch up.

    3. This is not the case for me. IMO, i feel like made in nigeria products are unnecessary expensive and they are mostly of low quality.
But then this has to do with the state of the economy right?

    4. What I don't understand is why "made in Nigeria " products are ridiculously expensive and poor in quality too. I bought a sack of chicken wings last week and it was #14,000 a Nigerian brand. Then a carton of full chicken laps that would give you x3 of the sack of chicken is #11,500 meanwhile it was #7,000 pre Buhari.
Also see how local rice is expensive , some have a unique sweetness but that's it, the quality is still low and you can't use most for fried rice and jollof rice.
As a child, I always believed Nigerians preferred imported things as a result of neocolonialism but now even when you want to patronise them, you can never get the comparable quality while it's still far more expensive.

    5. In Nigeria we eat international food to 'belong'. We speak multinational accents to 'belong'. We wear international designers items to 'belong'. Even our entrepreneurs who make local Nigerian products (Toke) still wear international brands but only wear their brands to take pictures and to advertise it. We hire international nannies while we have a lot of unemployed experienced mothers who can babysit. Innoson motor was given as a bbnaija prize but we talked down on our own calling it "china", tow van etc.
Tell me how we'll survive this? I guess the only way for the youths are yahoo yahoo, female underwear ritual, kidnapping, armed robbery, banditry, prostitution, prostitution upgraded aka "runs". They engage in all these vices in order for them to afford these international products to show off on social media.

  7. Also, they take littering and recycling quite serious.
Anything that is not biodegradable is not allowed.

From the airport, you see signs warning against the use of plastic bags.

A country that does Nothing for it's citizens except always playing lip services to everything.

Thank goodness that I and my family can afford the good life either or aboard, but believe me, it is very painful knowing that NOTHING IS WORKING IN NIGERIA,VERY PAINFUL REALIZATION 😫😫😫😫
